I saw the effect once, but it didnt work for any of my other pkmn. When I restarted the game and tried again, it didn't work at all. Help? homiko88 Posted April 8, 2010 Share Posted April 8, 2010 IV stands for Individual Values, which range from 0-31 that determine how high or low a particular stat may become. For example, let say I have an Empoleon with a Modest Nature (High Special Attack, Low Attack). With an IV of 31 towards its Speical Attack, if I were to invest 252 EVs (effort values) into Empoleon's special attack, Empoleon would have a Special Attack maximum of 353 at level 100. Now let's say Empoleon has an IV of 0 within it's special attack, then if I were to keep the nature the same and the amount of EVs the same, Empoleon's Special Attack would reach a maximum of 319 at level 100. And for an IV of 15, it would be 335. Do you get the picture? With that code, the IV's for each stat is set to 31 so that you can reach the highest maximum when investing how many EV's you desire. If you catch two of the same pokemon with the same nature, with that Max IV code on, you'll notice that they have the same exact stats. Without it, the stats would differ. chimchar1 Posted April 9, 2010 Share Posted April 9, 2010 couple things: fly to kanto while in johto and vice versa (i just dont like flying to the pokemon league between) also i cant get pokesav compact to work. trying to make a celebi to trigger the event but it didnt work. regular pokesav doesnt fit on my monitor. take your time on the code but quick help with pokesav would be appreciated. I'm not looking to make some and represent them as such, I'd just really like to know if legitcheck can tell if there was an action replay used to alter shiny-ness.
