For the first time, we will be able to Mega Evolve our Abomasnow, Manectric and Tyranitar! From May 17th to May 25th Trainers may register to compete in this month’s 2017 International Challenge May Online Competition. Battles will begin May 26th and last through May 28th. This will be a double battle competition that restricts Trainers to use only their Pokémon from the Alola region. Other rules and restrictions apply. Trainer incentives: Abomasite Manectite Tyranitarite Championship Points Mega Evolution does have its own advantages and disadvantages in battle, so naturally it doesn’t fit in with everyone’s strategies.
