I use Premier Balls. My Sporeing False Swipeing Breloom tends to aid this process, and when I'm feeling lazy I just use an AR code for 100% catch rate.

Even for ingame purposes I use Premier Balls. Its just more fun that way.

I caught my recent Giratina in one.

I just use the ball that matches the Pokémon best.

I also try to do this, but most of the time I end up having to fall back on Ultra Balls. I also make a huge effort to catch happiness-based evolution Pokémon with Luxury Balls.

Great balls, no doubt about that. In fact in fire red and leaf green, I was never able to catch Zapodos with anything else!

I probably fall back on the ultra balls more than I should just because I'm lazy.

pokebaaaaals!!! 3/4th of all my pokemon are caught in normal pokeballs, including lots of legends (all 3th gen and 4th gen legends except for dialga). My second favorite ball is the duskball because it is very effective and it looks great.

I use Ultra Balls for grassland Pokémon, Dusk balls for cave Pokémon, lure balls for water Pokémon, and whatever is most affective on others.

Dusk also works well at night (4x effective in caves and at night). Usually Dusk Balls and Quick Balls are the best ones to use.

for me, i'm confident in using quick balls & then, after failing to catch by a quick ball, my next option is the dusk ball, not any other ball (it's because i'm only playing at night, and dusk balls are effective during night time, even outside caves)

I really wish they'd boost the utility of the other Pokeballs. I mean, what's the point of having Pokeballs with higher catch rates for bugs, surfing Pokemon, weak Pokemon, etcetera, when even with their boosts they are still nowhere near as good a bet as a Dusk Ball or Quick Ball?

I agree with you there... but Net Ball just looks so awesome!

I actually caught Arceus with a net ball, didn't even hurt it.

seriously...never used any other pokeball (except safari balls in great marsh) unless facing a legendary x)
