Funny story about this one. Fallen and I posted separate articles for the same story at almost precisely the same time (within the same 2:38 EST minute), each not knowing the other was posting a story. Fallen deleted his because he posted it seconds later but I incorporated the information missing from mine (the source link and the World Championships stuff) and modified the author field. :grog:

Woot, well atlest we know when round about it will be released, and the font and colour on the logo do look quite strange and irregular from the previous pokemon game logos. wounder if they might change or enhance there quality abit more to give it a more pokemon feal.

I feel like I'm one of the only people who appreciates the difference between these logos and the dozen or so we've had in the past with the same font. The Japanese logo's for every Pokemon game are unique, and now we finally get a similar treatment. I'm not saying these are the best we could have gotten, but I REALLY appreciate the effort.

On another note, I am really surprised that these remakes kept the little Ho-Oh heart and Lugia soul, since FRLG got rid of the little flame and leaf symbol. I'm happy about that.

Yes i noticed that too. But i neglected to mention it in my post earlier. I am getting a good feeling about this game, i hope that it does not disappoint, but with all these features how is it possible?!

I agree with you 100%.

Most recent first-hand experience of this:

Spent a lot of time playing D/P and Pt in Japanese... then play the English versions. The Japanese logos look very metallic and stylized and just awesome. Then I pop in an English version and get the same, standard, cartoony logo that has been around for well over 10 years, and it's even in the same color configuration. Ugh.

At least the "version" info on these new logos is unique and not the same old font.

Awesome... the only thing I don't really like is the English Logos they look a bit... (no offence) ugly...

@PaDdY!: Seeing that Australia released Platinum 1 month 22 days after the US, I assume it's going to be released somewhere around 2010 Late Spring (November) or Summer (December).

Is that date right? I don't think so. If it is April Fools, I'm going to be mad. Otherwise, I think they're just using that as a default date until a better projectd release date is set.

Don't ever site gamestop for anything, please.

I worked there, and they'd just put up some guesswork when nothing official was announced. And then constantly change it (if it got close) and blame it on the companies (such as "oh, looks like it got pushed back again"). They have no communication with companies, they just guess until something is announced to the press. So you'd probably know from the internet sooner than they would know.

Trust me on this.

Ugh, yes. I remember I got that response for over a year on one game -__-;
