Modified CyberGadget 3DS Save Editor for use with PKHeX (Updated 10/25/2015).

@Kaphotics: Do you know what may be wrong with your mod editor, so it's not working?

Nope.

A modified version may not even be necessary; there's a few guides on japanese boards that don't even use the modified version but abuse the 'cache'.

Apparently you just edit the cached file then restore it when done editing.

i use 3DSSaveEditor_en and 3DSSaveEditor_ja it show me error:could not connect to the server,

i have use vpn to try again, is the server down?

If not i need to do what things can fix it?

That moded version is no longer compatible with the new update. 2 comments up from this there is a Japanese blog about using it with any pausing method. Its easy try it . If you can't speak Japanese let Google translate the page. Its simple

Well. Cripes. That's nice and easy! So, we just need PKHeX to load from the last accessed folder for loading/saving the "main" file.

(Though it was only published in February, to think that we didn't need a modded editor this whole time...)

Basically, just use the proper Japanese program, load your game in Advanced Edit, edit a 0 to be a 0, then click Cache(キャッシュ) to save the current file; from PKHeX, load that cached file, edit as desired, save over the cached file, then click Read(読み込む) in Cyber Editor to load the edited game to the Advanced mode. Then just finish like normal!

Haven't tested it myself, but keni seems to be having good results, so yay!

Ah, found it; under Tools. Hm, could that be moved to the File droplist? It is a bit odd to load/save a file from Tools (Though I understand why it's there, grouped with the other CyberGadget options). Could it be placed under File as "Open from CyberGadget Cache..." or something like that, to be a bit more simple for others who don't understand how this all works?

I've added it to the path detection check when you File->Open.

First delete all the previous cache files so you won't get mixed the new file with old ones

After you edit and save and click the cache and you click OK right. After that there should be three copying stages

One bar completing - reading data

2nd bar processing data

3rd one is copying to the cartridge.

Be sure to see you see all 3 .if it shut down half way means the program crashed

Here mine is fine. I just finished adding some pokes

Hmmm... i dunno if i saw 3 copying stages. Why would they crash? Any precautions i should be taking?

I notices some internet issues on my laptop, could that be a reason for crashing?

Yes it could happen when internet suddenly get slow. Happened to me couple of times.

If it crash all you wants to do is just go advanced mode again, create the cache. Then pkhex and open the previous cache you saved before. Even the program crashed since you saved it, it will be there. Open that and save again to the new cache file you created. And just do the same process.

Hope my explaining is clear. Lol since I'm trying how I do it. So don't no if my instructions are clear

Yes basically that's what I do. Since if crashed you dont have to edit again since the cache you rewrite before will be there.

Try and reply if it works.

You're right. So i did see 3 loading screens though first two dont finish completely, when first one if less than half way through, the second one starts, when second one is less than half way through, the third one starts, and when the third one is less than FULL way through, the screen closes and turns out it saved. the only change I made was to connect my laptop with the Ethernet cable. Thanks for the help brother.

Glad it worked . 3rd bar is copying stage so it might either go full of close fast. Its OK either way

OK if you come online follow these

1.load the program and go to the section below on the program

2.click save bank or セブーバンク

3.on top of that list there will be you game name and between that and the next game title there will be ton of backups from your game.

4.see the data and time. Select the one which you last edited. Its like before you crashed Your game. I mean if you found out your game is crashed at 8;30 find a backup which is around that time

5.double click it and rename is

6.then right click and select the first option

レスト。

7.when it get restored you should have your game back

Try it. If not work. Let me know
