Lets say you want to make a pokemon caught in gen 4 so you set target game to HG/SS so you can set location etc. Will pokegts still upload that to a gen 5 game? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what the "target game" option means, I think of it as "what game is this pokemon being sent to?" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Delta Blast Burn Posted February 9, 2014 Share Posted February 9, 2014 The target game is mostly used for loading save files, but if a fourth gen target is set then the pkm file will be in a different format than if a fifth gen target is chosen.
