Greencat told me to post it or else I'd be his indentured servant for the rest of his life. o_O Team PP strikes again... against Team Greencat. This was an awfully close battle... and I hope it shows you what some Pokemon can actually do. Yes, I actually lost this round, but at least from here you'll learn something Rules: Rules: Evasion Clause, Freeze Clause, OHKO Clause, Sleep Clause Pokemon: (In order of appearance) Wraith89 Greencat v wraith89 sent out ParaDoX65 (lvl 100 Furret ?). And how is that Metagross faster? Oh yeah, Choice Scarf'd variants. Of course... but mine's scarf'd too. Oh right. I put it in minimum... Greencat's is probably Jolly and 252 Speed. The Fallen's speed was sharply raised. --- We all know Metagross is his favorite Pokemon. That's why a Metagross sweep was coined the 'Greencat sweep'. v bobtheedibleone: We know... It doesn't affect Phreen... --- Here I go, Baton Passing it to a Yanmega... which wouldn't have been fruitful at all. I would have passed to Absol, but that thing can't take a hit to save itself. Grass beats Grounds, but so does Ice. I packed Grass for Swampert, but dragons and other ice weak Pokemon are SO much more common. Plus it makes a pseudo boltbeam combo. v wraith89 switched in ParaDoX65 (lvl 100 Furret ?). ParaDoX65 was hurt by Spikes! ParaDoX65 lost 25% of its health. Barbara used Outrage. Well, you learned that a Furret can TrickScarf and U-turn out from dangerous foes. You learned that a Yanmega raises its speed every turn and can Hypnotize its opponents to sleep and wreak havoc with its bloated special attack and STAB moves. You learned that Gyarados can make use of Taunt and Dragon Dance judiciously. You learned... well, I hope you've learned. Oh yes, Metagross with Choice Scarf can be a cool lead if you try that out. Most people don't expect it, but everyone knows that Greencat's Metagross is the Scarf variant. Trust me, it cost him his whole match at one point... when Bellyzard swept him by switching into a locked Earthquake. For people who miss Garchomp in standards, Flygon is a suitable alternative. Flygon isn't all that bad, believe me. She destroys teams if you can play her right. That Beelzebub dragon thing is seriously underrated and should be considered when building teams. 2) You lost. Well, yeah, I did. So what? I can lose too 3) Is Phreen really a drunkard? What? NO! That's an inside joke from Shoddy people... between Ray and I, and spread to Paradox and a few others. Honestly, I forgot how it started, but Phreen is a normal good Mexican kid living in California and does NOT drink. :-/ 4) You lost. Yeah, I know. 5) Why did you use a Furret? Because ParaDoX just owns. Trick Scarf Furret is a neat little trickster which can cripple opponents if used right. Don't try in OU though... he won't live. 6) You lost. I know... 7) Why did you Baton Pass The Fallen's Agility to Phreen? Or else Earthquake from Barbara the Flygon would have eaten bob alive. 8) You lost. Yes... I know. 9) Who is Barbara anyways? Greencat's Flygon, otherwise I don't know. 10) You lost. ......
