Turning an nds into an R4 compatible rom

Recommended Posts

when I extract an .nds file (in particular Pokemon White), there is a loss in data. the rom becomes 191 mb, when the r4 compatible version was 256 mb. Is there a way for me to recompile it so that it is compatible again?

when i try to run it in r4, i get "error romload=-4)

I've seen that...wood doesn't want to load on my 3ds gold plus version.

I know i have a compatible version, but i already installed the initial firmware into the cart via the burner it came with.

i open the wood r4 from the firmware it came with, but it won't open.

It seems that the R4i Gold Plus doesn't support Wood R4.

Anyway, a 191MB rom should work. But, just to test, run the attached program. (It required the .Net Framework 4.0). Open your Rom, Convert from Raw to Raw with a target size of 256 Megabits (2 Gigabits). Be sure to save it as an *.nds file (change the selected file format from *.sav to All files). If it is just the card not liking trimed ROMS, then this might fix it.
