[edit] Introduction

Pokémon Platinum is a Generation IV main series Pokémon game. It follows Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, containing the same basic gameplay mechanics, gym badges, and adventure. Platinum also introduces new features and locations, as well as a different story arc featuring Giratina. It was released in Japan on September 13, 2008, and in North America on March 22, 2009.

Platinum follows Pokémon Diamond and Pearl in the sense that you continue your journey in Sinnoh, the badges are the same, and the same mechanics. However, Platinum includes many new things such as the WiFi Square, a different arangement of gyms you face, the Distorted World, a newly remodeled Battle Frontier, your own Villa, (Courtesy of the R/S champion, Steven Stone) 210 Pokémon in the Sinnoh Dex rather than 150, and many more features! People like Cynthia, Barry, Candice, Volknor, Flint, and Byron will visit you in your villa. There's an International Police agent, and a new Commander of Team Galactic who was once friends with Rotom...

[edit] Battle Frontier

The following pokemon are banned from the frontier: Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys (All forms),Dialga, Palkia, Giratina (All formes), Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin (All forms), Arceus (All Forms)

[edit]Battle Factory

The Battle Factory is rather Self Explanatory, you pick 3 Pokemon from a 6 Pokemon roster, and do battle. Every time you beat a foe, you are warned of the next opponents Pokemon, and allowed to swap one of the Pokemon you are using for one of the Pokemon of the defeated enemy. The Frontier Brain shows up after 3 complete streaks. Every time a streak is complete, you pick from a new set of 6. Streaks have 7 battles each.

[edit]Battle Tower

The battle tower is the same as in Diamond and Pearl.

"Pokémon Explorers of Sky will be the fifth installment in the Pokémon Mysterious Dungeon series"

Shouldn't it be Mystery?

Edit:

"Games: More news about Pokémon Heart Gold and Pokémon Sould Silver"

Should be Soul. :)

Currently the Pokédex includes moveset data, learnable TMs and HMs and the normal stat information. For convenience we have made am english version based on some of the translated text from Pokémon Platinum. Things like Flavor Text have been ommited from that version since we do not have translations. The japanese version has flavor text as displayed in the game.

To get to the HeartGold and SoulSilver Pokédex click on the General Pokédex link on the left.

There is plenty more information from HeartGold and SoulSilver for us to discover. So check back and we’ll keep you updated on the progress.

Found a recent one.

Lugia is the mascot of Pokémon SoulSilver and is known for it's signature move, Areoblast. Both versions contain access to Lugia, however you may obtain it much sooner in Pokémon SoulSilver by obtaining the Silver Feather after defeating both Team Rocket and each of the Kimono Girls. Lugia will reside in the basement of the Whirl Islands at Level 45.

If you are playing HeartGold, you must recieve the Silver Feather from Pewter City. Then you may challenge Lugia at the basement of the Whirl Islands at Level 70.

I believe it is Aeroblast.

I found a bug yesterday. My nickname was changed from MasterX to Satetsu but when I log onto the site it says: "Welcome, MasterX". And MasterX still appears in the My Articles section. My nickname on the forum is ok eveywhere.

That was fixed a few minutes ago.
