I am hearing now that there is an extra option in the party screen menu that may or may not have to do with letting your Pokémon out / putting it back. Man, this heat is frying my brain. Back on topic: I'll have whatever Pokemon I'm trying to give some exp in the front slot. For example... My party in Crystal right now is a Pidgey, Cyndaquil, weak Gastly and an Egg.... the one in the first position is Gastly... cool looking, but that won't always be the case with whoever I'm trying to level up.
