does clicking the generate shiny ID in pokegen make it illegal in GTS battle

it will make the pokemon not yours anymore, but the current pokemon id will be made shiny. alternatively, you could blank out the pid and check the "shiny" box on the first tab. that will do the same thing, but for your current tid and sid.

if you mouse over the button(think its a button) next to the pokemon PID, it says it will most likely result in an illegal pokemon.

That is for Gen IV. Leaving the PID blank in Gen V will automatically give a valid PID.

SO... that mean to say if i generate shiny ID the pokemon will be make not mine ?

i dun care if it is mine or not it will be better if it is not mine and i will get more exp in a battle...
