	Hi all,<br />
	<br />
	I went to the Pokémon adventure event at the Millennium Dome in September 2000 and was transferred a Mew there. <br />
	<br />
	With some level of certainty, the Mew I still have on my Pokemon Yellow cartridge is the same Mew. I have restarted the game a few times over the years, and each time would trade the Mew on to my brother's Pokemon Red cartridge, and trade it back so I could keep hold of it. <br />
	<br />
	Having recently fetched my cartridge from my childhood bedroom, I was delighted to find that it was still working, and the battery was somehow still hanging on in there. Consulting with AI, I was encouraged to buy a GBxCart RW and back my file up.<br />
	<br />
	It did however tell me stats that it would expect a Mew obtained at this event to have. Namely a OT with a simple short name, and IVs 5 HP, 10 Attack, 1 Defense, 12 Speed, 5 Special<br />
	<br />
	My OT is ASH, and my IVs are 2 HP, 12 Attack, 10 Defense, 7 Speed, 4 Special<br />
	PKHeX also says:<br />
	"Not legal<br />
	Encounter: Invalid: Unable to match an encounter from origin game.<br />
	Fateful: Invalid: Fateful Encounter with no matching Encounter. Has the Mystery Gift data been contributed?"<br />
	<br />
	Now, again, I am 99% sure this Mew is the real deal - does any of what I'm describing seem within the realms of possible? Or are the known event Mews from that tour all so consistent that it means something is off here?<br />
	<br />
	Thanks for your help! Very new to all this. <br />
	<br />
	Arthur

	I know this may sound like a ridiculous idea, but would it be worth it to preserve the event Pokemon of this title? They seem to have the same data types as main series games, and from a preservationist standpoint once the servers shut down they'll also go along with it. It may be worth looking into, and even though using them may be impossible just having their extracted data is enough to at least archive considering how this site strives to preserve event Pokemon no matter how obscure it is.

	So, I missed a bunch of events. Only really looking to do this with Gen 7 and earlier.
</p>

<p>
	When you generate a Pokémon based on the PKhex event database, and you generate it based upon creating the wonder card, are there any real differences in terms of legality, or how legitimate it appears?
</p>

<p>
	If so, what is the extent of difference? Is there some detectable difference when a wonder card wasn't used to receive the Pokémon, even if it appears as legal with the legality checked on PKhex?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	That's really all.

	Hey there,
</p>

<p>
	I want to catch Darkrai in Pokemon Platinum (or Platin to be exact, the german version). I tried injecting the .pcd (the wondercard), but the green guy didn't appear in any Pokémart. Then I tried with the .pgt (the item itself). I got the item, but for some reason the game doesn't really activate the event. So I got the membercard in my bag but the event still doesn't appear. I tried it on my 3DS and on melonDS emulator.
</p>

<p>
	I used the tutorial you had on the website for injecting (thx btw, had problems before).
</p>

<p>
	If anyone knows how to receive it using the .pcd or knows how to activate the event, I would appreciate is so much!
</p>

<p>
	Thanks in advance,

	Hello, I would like to ask a question regarding the Shiny Sinnoh Legendary Trio events. I recently obtained a Japanese Pokémon Black 2 cartridge, and I was interested in injecting the official event. However, while researching, I came across information stating that this event was not distributed in Japan.<br />
	In Generation 6, there were some Japanese events that could be redeemed on cartridges from other regions, so I wanted to know if this was also the case for the Shiny Sinnoh Legendary events. If so, in which language was the event distributed?

	Hello,

<p>
	I am currently filling in missing Gen 6 events by injecting <code>.wc6</code> files into my save using PKHeX. However, the files in the Event Gallery have fixed dates that fall outside the legitimate distribution window for my small country.
</p>

<p>
	Is there a way to modify the Wonder Card date within PKHeX before or during the injection process? I have tried changing my PC’s system clock, but the date on the card stays the same.
</p>

<p>
	Is it possible to make sure that the dates match the distribution period that actually happened in my country? I'm not looking to cheat, nor use any illegal software, I only want to change the date of the WonderCard.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you!

	Hi all,

<p>
	I took a 20+ year Pokémon hiatus and returned right around the launch of BDSP. I claimed some of the very first Mystery Gifts, but amazingly, I never claimed the items for Shaymin and Darkrai to unlock in-game. <br />

</p>

<p>
	While I have them in other games, I am wondering, what are my options if I wanted to edit the saves to inject the items/activate the events? I have my saves on a Switch 2, and I do not own a modded Switch 1. I have digital copies of the games as well as v1.0 cartridges for BD &amp; SP. I have a friend who has a modded Switch. What kind of crazy gymnastics (if any) could work given all of those conditions? Lol

	Hello there, fellow Pokemon enthusiasts! I am currently trying to create my own pokemon distribution machine for all the events for my friends, so we can replicate the events as close as possible. I am working on Gen 6 at the moment, but I have hit a bit of a roadblock. According to what I've read, the leaked app from years ago, which was supposedly official (I think?), only works with wc6full and not just wc6 files. And to test this, I tried with Steven's Shiny Beldum, and that only appears in wc6 format and I've confirmed it doesn't work. Googling how to convert to wc6full leads to a thread on this website that says the link isn't there anymore.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Is there any way at the current moment to convert the wc6 to wc6full format, or make it so I can use both wc6 and wc6full on the local distributor software? Thank you in advance!

	Good afternoon,
</p>

<p>
	I'd like to know if it's possible to get some of the Global Link distributed Pokémon listed <a href="https://www.serebii.net/events/2011.shtml" rel="external nofollow">here</a>. Afaik, these were distributed through a now extinct website and service, with the use of passwords (f.e: the Croagunk from IGN Giveaways during 2011 used the passcode "<b>IGNRuggedMountain</b>").<br />
	<br />
	I know it's impossible to emulate these again (I downloaded Entralinked thinking it could be done, but it only lets you inject Pokémon into Entree Forest), but I've seen that these type of events used something called ".efd" files (Entree Forest Data). When searching about this, I saw some of these files uploaded online, such as the one for the Arceus event and for the Halloween distributed Banette.<br />
	<br />
	I'm trying to complete my save with all the obtainable event Pokémon in both NA and Japan, so I'd like to know if anyone can tell me where to find for these files and how to inject them into my game, only if it's possible ofc.
</p>

And the pokemon that hatches from it can be literally any pokemon from emerald Including evolutions of basic pokemon and legendaries. At the pokemart pokeballs are replaced with eggs each one costs 500$. And when you are rival gives you pokeballs they are replaced with master balls for catching the legendary pokemon in the game. all trainers that you fight again after beating them will still give you an egg. Hi everyone, I have a question: is there any chance to transfer the shiny home gift via bot? When I try to put them into pkhex it is said the home tracker is missing. Thanks.

</p>

<p>
	After touching the meeting or event database, I get this:
</p>

<p>
	<img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="61714" data-ratio="51.71" width="584" alt="image.png.40fd243730b18e3d759bd87ef56b5c3b.png" src="https://projectpokemon.org/home/uploads/monthly_2025_08/image.png.40fd243730b18e3d759bd87ef56b5c3b.png" />
</p>

<p>
	What should I do to fix it? The only thing I've done is delete the application and download it again, but it didn't work.
</p>

	Where exactly do the Pokémon from the PKHeX Encounter Database come from? I've noticed that the database has data for Pokémon not present in the Event Gallery section here or in the EventsGallery repository on GitHub. To name a few, the Poképark Jirachi, Hadō Regirock, and the PCNY "Wish" eggs for Chansey and Lickitung. Are the Pokémon in the Encounter Database 100% legitimate?
</p>

<p>
	I also have another question regarding legality. PKHeX shows that some Pokémon, even from the Event Gallery, are illegal (Hadō Registeel, for example). I also noted that it marks every Pokémon from the "Gather More Pokémon!" campaign (PCJP gift) as illegal, even though I obtained them from the link below. However, the ones in the PKHeX Encounter Database are all marked as legal.

	I've been using the Pokemon Mystery Gift Editor to make custom event pokemon for the gen 4 titles. I was wondering if it is at all possible to make the pokemon from the event legal. I presently have been able to have nearly fully legal information when I set the has custom OT flag to true. The only problem is the met location is set to Lovely place regardless of the pkm data I put in my wonder card. Is there a way to modify the wonder card to get around this?

	Hi everyone,<br />
	I’ve been backing up my old Pokémon save files from <strong>Gen 6 (ORAS/X/Y)</strong> and was wondering — is there any method to <strong>convert or migrate a full save file</strong> to a more modern format like <strong>Gen 8 (SWSH)</strong> or even <strong>Gen 9 (Scarlet/Violet)</strong>?
</p>

<p>
	I know individual Pokémon can be exported/imported as <code>.pk6/.pk9</code>, but I’m thinking more along the lines of:
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		<p>
			Full box migration (bulk transfer)?
		</p>
	</li>
	<li>
		<p>
			Maintaining original trainer info and legality?
		</p>
	</li>
	<li>
		<p>
			Compatibility with HOME or official tools after editing?
		</p>
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	Has anyone done a multi-gen save transfer successfully using PKHeX or any script/toolchain? I'd love to preserve the team history across gens.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks in advance!

	I was doing some research using PKHeX to compare data from mightiest mark mons from the files posted on the site and from mons caughts during the original event raid period.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Two things I noticed and related questions:
</p>

<p>
	1) even mons caught during the event period in different save files (and thus 100% legit) will have different origin seeds and variable weight (height and scale are always 128). Why is that so?
</p>

<p>
	2) in addition to that, mons from the injected files will also have variable height, not only weight. Does that mean they would fail a legality check?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks for any insight!

	I was delving into the first generations of pokemon and researching their events and unique or rare pokémon.
</p>

<p>
	One which caught my attention were the event pikachus, especially in yellow pokémon, I was able to get a pikachu with the surfing movement with the pokemon stadium method.
</p>

<p>
	Getting to the point, I was wondering if there is any possible way to get that flying pikachu from Japan event distribution, I know that this pikachu was also distributed with a surfer pikachu, this was the second time that the surfer pikachu was distributed along with the flying pikachu, honestly, I have no idea if this flying pikachu was able to leave Japan somehow. Or if someone has it in a rom or sav or maybe get it by arbitrary code I just want to know if this pikachu can actually be obtained.
</p>

<p>
	<span style="color:#bdc3c7;">I was looking for it for weeks carving information but I gave up when I didn't find anything related to its method of obtaining outside of that event in Japan in addition to the fact that the searches had nothing related to yellow pokémon. </span>

					Good evening everyone, I have been looking all over the internet trying to find a solution to getting the event pokemon in gen 3. I have downloaded the WC3tool and I have imported my saved file into the program and exported it back out with the aura ticket. But the rom will not load the saved game. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thank you in advance!

	<span style="background-color:#0f0f0f;color:#f1f1f1;font-size:14px;">So I'm not sure if this has been asked before (couldn't find anything related)  but I have 3 questions regarding PCNY distribution mon, specifically for Gen 3</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="background-color:#0f0f0f;color:#f1f1f1;font-size:14px;">1. Do you think it would be at all possible to create a distribution app for gamecube/wii that would allow you to connect your GBA and receive all available gen 3 PCNY mon?? Judging by the information that's already out, I'm sure that exact replication / conversion of the original Gotta Catch'em All Machine software would be extremely difficult if not impossible, but it would be extremely cool if it had a similar interface / animations.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="background-color:#0f0f0f;color:#f1f1f1;font-size:14px;">2. Is there / would it be possible to create a GBA distribution file / ROM similar to the 10 ANNIV ROM that's floating around that distributes the PCNY pokemon?</span>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<span style="background-color:#0f0f0f;color:#f1f1f1;font-size:14px;">3. If these are possible and haven't been done already, can someone PLEASE do it?! I would myself if I knew how to code and make homebrew apps. I grew up in NY and used to LOVE going to the Pokemon Center as a kid with my games to receive them! I know I can easily just rip my save file to my PC and put them in there with PkHex, but it would be awesome to use hardware to do so. Thanks in advance to anyone who contributes to this thread, and hopefully someone out there who is capable and up to the task can make this happen!</span>
