This gift was made available following the trailer released on June 2020 regarding the Sword and Shield DLC: Isle of Armor. First, using the Switch version of HOME, deposit a Pokémon into HOME, from Sword and Shield. Then, using the mobile app, the player can then receive this gift from the Mystery Gift > Gift Box option. This marks the first time any of the Galar starters can have their hidden ability.
