SkyTemple Randomizer

Randomizer for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. For Windows, macOS and Linux.
This randomizer randomizes...
- ... all NPCs on the overworld (with matching portraits and names; additional portraits are downloaded from the PMDCollab Sprite Repository)
- ... all dungeon layouts (including tilesets, music, weather, darkness, traps, items, Pokémon spawns, etc.)
- ... Pokémon moves, types, abilities
- ... boss fights matching the NPCs and boss fight layouts
- ... chapter names and location names.
- ... if wanted: all text in the game.
Pokémon level are randomized between -3/+3 of the minimum/maximum level that the Pokémon on that floor had in the original game.
Additionally patches by End45 to improve gameplay are installed. All settings can be toggled off!
Also contains additional optional patches, like the Complete Team Control Patch from Cipnit.

Install on Windows and Mac
Download the Installer (exe Windows [we recommend the x64 Version if you have a 64bit Computer!], dmg Mac) and install it. After this run "SkyTemple Randomizer".
Install on Linux
The Linux version is available as a Flatpak at https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.skytemple.Randomizer.

SkyTemple PMD2 ROM Editor

SkyTemple: The Explorers of Sky ROM editor for maps, backgrounds and scripts, including an interactive debugger for the game's script engine.
This is a very early pre-release of SkyTemple, please expect many bugs and make backups of your ROMs!
Windows version
Is attached here, just click "Download" on the right! You may need to install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (2022) for your platform, otherwise the debugger and emulator will not work correctly: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
Mac version
Is also attached, the minimum supported macOS version is macOS 11

.Net 3DS Toolkit

Ever notice how the majority of command-line applications require about a dozen commands for a single logical operation? This tool aims to fix that! Not only is there an easy-to-use GUI, ROMs can be extracted and repacked with a single console command per operation.
System requirements:
.Net Framework 4.6 Free space on the system drive. Cleanup happens as soon as possible, but especially for larger ROMs, you may need several GB free.
Supported formats for extraction:
Decrypted CCI (aka .3DS) Decrypted CXI (what Braindump gives you) Decrypted CIA NDS ROM
Supported formats for building:
Decrypted CCI (aka .3DS) For use with Citra Can be used for Gateway and Sky 3DS (with CFW) if encrypted using Decrypt9 0-Key Encrypted CCI For use with Gateway CIA For use with CFW HANS RomFS, Code.Bin, and Homebrew Launcher Shortcut NDS ROM
Planned Features:
Copy private header to 0-key encrypted CCI files as they are built. Until this is done, any *.3dz files created are invalid until a private header is added. Credits:

DS ROM Patcher

Normaly, distributing ROM hacks for NDS ROMs involves an XDelta patch applied to the entire ROM. 3DS hacks usually involves tedious ROM extraction and file replacement. Patches applied to the ROM as a whole do not support multiple regions of games, and tedious ROM extraction and file replacement is a chore. DS ROM Patcher aims to fix that: a single easily-distributable zip file contains everything that's needed to apply a hack to a ROM. The supported input and output formats are the same as in my .Net 3DS Toolkit: 3DS, CIA, and Hans.
Instructions for creating and applying hacks can be found at the GitHub Readme page.
Requires the .Net Framework 4.6.2.

Pokémon HG/SS - 'Pokémon DS Map Studio' - New Bark Town Recreation

Pokémon DS Map Studio and Spiky's DS Map Editor Spiky's DS Map Editor (SDSME)
do not allow the direct extraction of Official Pokémon Game Tilesets.
If you want to - for example - add a single house to a Route, you must recreate the entire map first.
That is why I will recreate some of Pokémon HG/SS's maps essentially Tile for Tile, before making my own real edits.
This is a Recreation of HG/SS New Bark Town in Pokémon DS Map Studio.
You may use this as a basis for your edits. You need not credit me, since this is merely something akin to 'Step 1' of the real work.
(I had intended to upload many more such maps, but I have decided against it for now, sorry )
Please inform me, if you see anything wrong (Those Grass Tiles ARE very small! XD)

Important!
you need to download G3DCVTR in order to make the tool work.
Put the (g3dcvtr.exe) file and the (xerces-c_2_5_0.dll)
into the following path:

Description:
Pokemon DS Map Studio is a tool for creating maps for Pokemon DS games. This tool must be used along with SDSME for importing the maps in the games.
The tool contains some predesigned tilesets for each game but custom tiles can also be created.
Games available:

What Pokemon DS Map Studio can do?

You will need the following requirements:
Windows or Linux Java 8 (higher versions can be problematic) A graphics card compatible with OpenGL 2
For running the program:
Double click the exe file "PokemonDsMapStudio 2.0.exe" Double click the jar file "PokemonDsMapStudio.jar" If the previous method doesn't work, probably there is one requierement that is not fulfilled.
If you can't run the program after those steps, please, do the following for cheking the error:
Open Windows file explorer and go to the folder where "PokemonDsMapStudio.jar" is located. Type "cmd" in the file explorer's path. That will open Windows command prompt. In Windows command prompt type: "java -jar PokemonDsMapStudio.jar" Then the error message will be displayed in the command prompt. You can share the error message with me for finding a solution.
