  1. PK5: Unobtainable Ghetsis's Kyurem

Pokemon Black & White introduced a pair of main title games,
where the player could not catch the box mascot Legendary until past the first Elite Four challenge,
and Pokemon Black 2 & White 2 took that idea to a whole new level.

Featured on the boxes of Pokemon Black 2 & White 2, is the same Pokemon, but in 2 different formes: Black Kyurem and White Kyurem.
Their introduction may not have been the first canonical Pokemon fusion (slowpokeXshellder anyone?),
but it certainly was the first for Legendary Pokemon, and they were uncatchable in that state. (normally)

The antagonist that continued to plague Unova, Ghetsis, stole the DNA Splicers,
tricked his foster son N to appear with the legendary Pokemon of Unova,
AND managed to steal N's Pokemon ZekromB2/ReshiramW2 and got Kyurem to fuse together with it.
(the cutscene looked like a dog toying with it's prey, but I digress)

This page hosts the Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, stolen from Ghetsis (karma, lol), by @jojo12100
    If you didn't have a Fused Kyurem, these cannot be un-fused;
The separation depends on the the state of the DNA Splicers - which there's 2, hence why it can have different description.
Also depends if there is anything in the Kyurem Fused Slot in your save. (that's how they retain the Zekrom/Reshiram used for fusion)
As per any Black Kyurem/White Kyurem, it cannot be traded, and cannot be transferred to later generations, when it is in the fused state.

  3. PK1: Debugger's Pokemon

    Original Description, pre-debug rom leak
When running through the assembly of the game, it was discovered that there are subroutines that will give you a set part of Pokemon.

It is most likely that these Pokemon the game fills your party with, are Pokemon the debuggers used to run through the game,
to test whether the game is working as intended.

Thanks to @jojo12100 and @BlackShark's help with the codes, to obtain these Pokemon!

    Update, post-debug rom leak
Since the debug roms for Blue and Yellow is (at time of writing) now in the wild, the debug Pokémon from those were added.
It is important to note that OT/TID is set upon continuing the game via debug (as opposed to continuing normally via Title Screen).

So while the subroutine is the same, it uses the base save's OT/TID.
In any case, debug roms will not be distributed. Do not ask for them!

  4. PK8: Bugged Pokemon from GO-HOME transfers

During the early wave of GO->Home transfers, a bug was found that involved Pokémon that were Regional Variants of species that existed in LGPE.
These regional variants, when transferred from GO, had their LGPE moveset instead of their own moveset.

Pokémon HOME has since fixed this bug, and they've also put out a statement saying they will retroactively fix the bugged Pokémon.
Thus, these Pokémon were sent to SWSH and dumped, for archival purposes.

  5. WC7: Inaccessible Pokemon Bank Mewnium Z

This file was hosted on Mystery Gift Servers of Pokemon Bank, and is not accessible normally.
(The Pokemon Bank service retrieves the data from here, in order to give players the Mewnium Z)

However, it appears that Pokemon Bank changes the data when writing it to Pokemon Sun and Moon.
    The most noticeable changes are:
Wonder card ID from 4 to 0 Wonder card color from Purple to Gold.
As there haven't been any other Pokemon Bank gifts in Generation 7,
it is not known if this change occurs for every wonder card that Pokemon Bank processes.

  6. PK4: Unreleased Newmoon Island Darkrai (DP)

Programmed into Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum Versions, is the event location Newmoon Island.

After using the event item Member Card, players gain access to the defunct Harbor Inn in Canalave City,
falls asleep enters a "dream state", dreaming of an encounter with Darkrai at Newmoon Island.
Darkrai can be captured in the "dream". If defeated or fled from, it can be rebattled again in the actual location.

Member Card, was never released for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.
(Pokemon Platinum Version was lucky enough to get the event)
The Darkrai encountered in Pokemon Diamond & Pearl will not be considered a fateful encounter.
(only Shaymin in Platinum gets the Fateful Encounter flag)

  7. PK2: Impossible Korean Celebi

With the release of Pokémon Crystal on the Virtual Console for 3DS, Celebi (shiny and non-shiny) can be transferred up using Pokemon Transporter,
due to the fact that VC Pokémon Crystal allows players to get the GS BALL legitimately (without hacking or glitching).

However, Pokémon Crystal was not released to the Korean 3DS's, neither in Korean (as Korean Pokémon Crystal didn't exist back in the day) nor in international languages (as in Korean 3DS never got it).

As such, the only Virtual Console games that do not have access to Celebi are the Korean versions of Generation II,
as the Korean Virtual Console titles cannot communicate with the Japanese nor International versions.

While it would be illegal, Pokémon Transporter allows the transfer of a Korean Celebi from Generation II.

This page contains a shiny and non-shiny Celebi modeled after the one caught in Ilex Forest of Pokémon Crystal.

  8. WC7: Unreleased Testing Marshadow

On September 07th, 2017, around 09:12 GMT, a Marshadow test card was uploaded for testing, and quickly removed.
As per previous tests, it was likely to test if the the Serial Codes they have on hand can retrieve the card from the correct Wonder Card ID slot.

As per similar style as the recent Charizard combination cards, this card is fused with Ilex's Celebi event.
Here's the few things that is wrong/notable about this card:
    1. For one of the Marshadow, it instead uses English Silvally's Wonder card ID.
    2. Despite using English Silvally's Wonder Card ID, most of its details is from the Japanese Ilex's Celebi event.
    3. Despite using Japanese Ilex's Celebi's details, it uses the English OT Ilex, as opposed to the original Japanese OT.

Editior's note: apparently, even the testing staff is excited for Marshadow!

  9. PK4: Proto Japanese DP (Aug 2006 Build) Debug Pokémon

In June 2019, a Japanese copy of a Debugging variant of Pokémon Diamond Version was found and subsequently dumped.
In May 2020, the source code for Diamond and Pearl was found, and the game could be compiled, with the debug features intact.

This post relates to the 2019 leak.
    Debug start
Debug menu on Title Screen (Select) > Debug Start
The player will start the game in Jubilife City, with 3 starters, being Infernape, Piplup and Finneon.

    Pal Park Entry 1
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Tamada > Pokepark Data 1
This first set has Charizard, Squirtle, Wartortle, Caterpie, Sandshrew, and Tentacool.
Given these entries have a Set PID of 0, they cannot be shiny.
    Pal Park Entry 2
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Tamada > Pokepark Data 2
This second set has Bulbasaur, Beedrill, Clefairy, Sandshrew, Tauros, and Dragonair.
Given these entries have a Set PID of 0, they cannot be shiny.
    Box of Slowpoke
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Taya > Current Full
This debug option fills the current box to the brim with Slowpoke, all clones.
Since the TID and SID is set to 0, they cannot be shiny.

    Box of Slowbro
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Taya > Box Full
This box is full of Slowbro. There's 540 different Slowbro. Their PIDs are set, so they can't be shiny.

    Test Burmy
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Tomoya > Test
3 Burmy added to party. Their PIDs are set, so they can't be shiny.

    Roaming Darkrai
As previously reported, a Roaming Darkrai subroutine was found in the final build of the games.
With the debug version of the game, one is capable of encountering it.
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Saito > Roaming Pokémon > Location Change > Dark
In the debug menu, Darkrai uses the beta name Dark.

As usual, these files would be illegal and should not be transferred. Use at your own risk.
[We will not distribute the Debug ROM, and it is against our rules to ask for it]

Thanks to @BlackShark for the dump and @jojo12100 for the heads up, in regards to Slowpoke, Slowbro and Burmy.

  12. PK1: The "Hooked" Series

In Pokémon Red & Blue, a strange glitch was discovered by the GlitchCity old forums. (Less loud and more readable version here)
According to the report, it appears that after performing a variant of having the Safari Step counter time out when the boy in Pewter City take the first steps to bring you the the museum, talking to the boy again afterwards will result in a "hooked" Dragonite appearing, before freezing your game.
Jojo12100 was able to dump its info and replicate it, much like the process done for the Gen 1 Ghost Marowak.
Do note that in the data, it's level is 0. (PKHeX views any species with 0 EXP as Lv 1)
Besides Dragonite, other possible "hooked" encounters includes Metapod and Missingno. Those encounter are triggered by different conditions.
This page has an explanation of how Hooked Pokémon glitches work.

  13. PK8: Unintended Hydro Pump Drilbur

For a short while for the Wild Area event #14, players were able to encounter a Drilbur with Hydro Pump, exclusive to Shield 1 star raids.

While it was possible to obtain this legitimately, Game Freak is treating it as though it didn't happen, and this Drillbur cannot be used online.
Back when the event was still ongoing, the Wild Area News was updated, and Drillbur can no longer be encountered with Hydro Pump, effectively fixing the error.
Any players that did not update their wild area news, or have already caught one, will have the Drillbur unchanged.

It is not known if this Drillbur can go into HOME (at time of writing).

For the time being, this Drillbur will be classed as illegal.

  14. GP1: Fake and unreleased Go Park Complex Mew

The author usually doesn't indulge in making fakes, but just for this time round, the author made a few edits to the a GP1 of Jigglypuff to showcase a few presently (as of 2021) unreleased details:
    1. Mew from Pokémon GO in Go Park Complex in Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee
    2. Shiny Mew from Pokémon GO in Go Park Complex in Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee

When GO to HOME compatibility dropped, it was immediately noticed that Mew could be sent to HOME using this method.
However, GO did not lift the restriction of Mew entering LGPE.
Given that months has passed since the compatibility dropped, and GO never did lift the restriction,
it implies that GO may never allow Mew to be transferred to LGPE.

It is to note that the Mew received via this method will be illegal, even when transferred up.

As an aside, there is no legal way to catch Mew in LGPE.
The only way to obtain a Mew legitimately, is either via purchase of the Poké Ball Plus, or via trade (with someone that has a Mew).

  16. PK4 : Proto Japanese DP (Estimated Feb-Mar 2006 Build) Debug Pokemon

In June 2019, a Japanese copy of a Debugging variant of Pokémon Diamond Version was found and subsequently dumped.
In May 2020, the source code for Diamond and Pearl was found, and the game could be compiled, with the debug features intact.

This post relates to the early build compiled from the 2020 leak.

In the compiled version of the early build, it barely has 50 then new Pokémon developed at that time. This build is so early, that the index number for the then new Pokémon were all over the place, radically different from the final build people could purchase at retail stores.
Found in this older version of Diamond and Pearl, were some debug Pokemon (12 in box, 3 in party and a debug Bulbasaur battle routine).
However, probably because it was an early build, and it was very different from the final build, its PKM data structure turned out to be radically different.
As a result, these Pokémon needed to be reconstructed in order to be transplanted into the final build.
With that being said, this page hosts both the untouched version and the reconstructed (PKHeX compatible) version of the data.

    It is important to note that the beta sprites only applies to the beta games;
Pokémon sprites are based on the game you're playing on, not the Pokémon file you use.
As such, you will not get beta sprites to appear just by using these files.

Note: It appears not every beta Pokémon in the artwork is available in this pack.

While the battle look rather different (opponents are outlined in this build),
it is believed that the beta sprites for Munchlax and Weavile at least originated from this earlier build.
The beta sprites were seen in some of the pre-release clips.

Many thanks to @BlackShark for his hard work on data decryption and @jojo12100 for his work on PKM structure.

  25. ECT: Debug Pokemon Ruby Version - Debug E-reader Trainer

Out there in the wild, exists a German Language Debugger's/Developer's Edition of Pokemon Ruby Version,
which contains many debugging tools, including Mystery Event distribution subroutines.
Working on the data first documented by The Cutting Room Floor and GlitchCity Forums,
the E-card Trainer was finally extracted by @jojo12100 using @suloku's tool.

There are e-Reader cards that allow you to challenge trainers in the old man's house in Mossdeep City,
and the trainer can be swapped out by scanning a different card.

This card data contains a trainer that is a Pokemon Ranger, with his name being "Card E" (Japanese: カードいイー),
and rather peculiarly have the names of his Pokemon being in English ("TOURNAMENT").
Note: Japanese games are hard coded to only display up to 5 Characters for Trainer and Pokemon Names,
even if the Pokemon has a longer name, as seen in the comparison below.

It's possible that this e-Card was originally Japanese in a earlier revision of the debug rom,
which was likely based on a japanese debug rom, before it was adapted for localization.
The nicknames of the Pokemon was likely changed during localization.

[We will not distribute the Debug Ruby Rom, and it is against our rules to ask for it]
