  3. PK3: Unreleased MYSTRY Mew and Hall of Fame entries

This gift was distributed in Toys "R" Us stores across the United States, distributed to commemorate the release of M08: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
It has been determined that 430 MYSTRY MEWs existed, though only 426 was used, and 4 were not available.
This extra 4 was created due to how the distribution procedure (when transferring to the save used by TRU) has to create 5 Mew at a time.
However, as the save maxed out on capacity, 4 MEWs, and 1 starter, was traded away.
This page holds the 4 MYSTRY MEW that were unavailable to players.

Additionally, besides the standard in-game trade Farfetch'd, every Pokémon found in the Hall of Fame of the MYSTRY Mew save has been dutifully recreated and added to here.
Recreation is based on PID, which can be used to infer the Pokémon's Nature, IVs, and even encounter slot.
Based on the data, besides Blastoise, based on encounter slot data derived from their PID,
it appears that the level shown in the Hall of Fame entries is the level they were caught at, meaning they weren't even leveled up.
Their likely use, was to be placeholder fodder, to take the brunt of attacks, while the player revives their Blastoise.

  4. PK1: The "Hooked" Series

In Pokémon Red & Blue, a strange glitch was discovered by the GlitchCity old forums. (Less loud and more readable version here)
According to the report, it appears that after performing a variant of having the Safari Step counter time out when the boy in Pewter City take the first steps to bring you the the museum, talking to the boy again afterwards will result in a "hooked" Dragonite appearing, before freezing your game.
Jojo12100 was able to dump its info and replicate it, much like the process done for the Gen 1 Ghost Marowak.
Do note that in the data, it's level is 0. (PKHeX views any species with 0 EXP as Lv 1)
Besides Dragonite, other possible "hooked" encounters includes Metapod and Missingno. Those encounter are triggered by different conditions.
This page has an explanation of how Hooked Pokémon glitches work.

  5. PK4: Japanese Debug Pokémon Diamond Pokémon

In June 2019, a Japanese copy of a Debugging variant of Pokémon Diamond Version was found and subsequently dumped.

When pressing down Select on the start screen, a debug menu appears. If the player opts to proceed with the debug start, instead of the standard way to start a fresh game,
the player will end up having 3 Pokémon in their party, namely: Infernape, Piplup and Finneon, all at Level 99.

It appears that it may be possible to shiny hunt these entries.
Special thanks to the @TheShadyRelapse for the speedy retrieval of these Pokémon.

As usual, these files would be illegal and should not be transferred. Use at your own risk.

  6. PK3: XD Purification Demo Shadow Loudred

Back in the day there was a strange post in the glitchcity forum, claiming that a unobtainable Shadow Loudred briefly appears during the purification demo.
It took us a year but we finally got in our hands. Other shadow entries (presumably from the same Purification Demo) has also been included.

  7. ME3: Debug Eon Ticket

Out there in the wild, exists a German Language Debugger's/Developer's Edition of Pokemon Ruby Version,
which contains many debugging tools, including Mystery Event distribution subroutines.
Using the Mimic e-Card option in the Test Menu, the game emulates receiving an Eon Ticket,
which is notably different from the standard one players get from an official distribution.

Apparently another like that exist also in Crystal but it was not documented.

  13. PK7: USUM - Totems and other unobtainable Pokemon

Throughout Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, there have been many encounters with Pokemon that cannot be captured,
due to various reasons set up by the developers by various story elements.

As these Pokemon are uncatchables, they were obtained by extraction from RAM dumps.

*Warning, contains possible plot spoiler. If you've yet to complete the game, leave this page*
This page features the following Pokemon Sets:

  14. PK7: Unreleased Zeraora and Battle Video Pokemon

A Battle Video was released to promote Zeraora, and various hackers went to dump the Battle Video, in order to extract the Zeraora.
What is interesting, is that this file has the same details as the Japanese distribution.
The other Pokemon from the Battle Video was also added to this page.
They've been leveled to Lv.100, as their level was meant to be 100, evident by the fact that they were hyper trained.
Additionally, the Battle Video has also been added to this page!
It goes into the extdata 00001B50\user\btvideo and can then be watched from the Battle Video menu.

While this file won't make your save illegal, we don't recommend using it.

  16. PK4: Unused ???-type Arceus

In Generation IV of the core series games, a ???-type Arceus was programmed into the game, the same typing as the move Curse.
However, it goes unused, as there is no legitimate way to convert Arceus's type into ???-type.

While it is possible to change the Arceus's forme via hacking,
as it is not holding the correct plate (which doesn't exist), it will revert back to normal-type when it enters battle.

Generation V and onwards, the move Curse has been changed to ghost-type,
and this forme of Arceus has been removed.
The details below refer specifically to the file uploaded.

  17. PK2: Impossible Korean Celebi

With the release of Pokémon Crystal on the Virtual Console for 3DS, Celebi (shiny and non-shiny) can be transferred up using Pokemon Transporter,
due to the fact that VC Pokémon Crystal allows players to get the GS BALL legitimately (without hacking or glitching).

However, Pokémon Crystal was not released to the Korean 3DS's, neither in Korean (as Korean Pokémon Crystal didn't exist back in the day) nor in international languages (as in Korean 3DS never got it).

As such, the only Virtual Console games that do not have access to Celebi are the Korean versions of Generation II,
as the Korean Virtual Console titles cannot communicate with the Japanese nor International versions.

While it would be illegal, Pokémon Transporter allows the transfer of a Korean Celebi from Generation II.

This page contains a shiny and non-shiny Celebi modeled after the one caught in Ilex Forest of Pokémon Crystal.

and also having a Solgaleo or Lunala in your team (for the fusion process),
this forme, like Mega Evolution, cannot be maintained outside battle.

How this file was obtained, was by using NTR Codes that allowed catching of Trial Pokemon,
as this Pokemon was not meant to be captured as-is in the games.

This encounter cannot be shiny. This file will make your game save illegal.

  20. WC7: Unreleased Testing Marshadow

On September 07th, 2017, around 09:12 GMT, a Marshadow test card was uploaded for testing, and quickly removed.
As per previous tests, it was likely to test if the the Serial Codes they have on hand can retrieve the card from the correct Wonder Card ID slot.

As per similar style as the recent Charizard combination cards, this card is fused with Ilex's Celebi event.
Here's the few things that is wrong/notable about this card:
    1. For one of the Marshadow, it instead uses English Silvally's Wonder card ID.
    2. Despite using English Silvally's Wonder Card ID, most of its details is from the Japanese Ilex's Celebi event.
    3. Despite using Japanese Ilex's Celebi's details, it uses the English OT Ilex, as opposed to the original Japanese OT.

Editior's note: apparently, even the testing staff is excited for Marshadow!

Carrie is a young trainer that frequently visits Goldenrod Department Store,
