I am trying to edit some moves effect like hai bro also restores hp along with status problem, recover hp of all premium on user field, hammer arm reduces opponents speed, close combat reduces opponents def, sp. Def. Something like this... Just for my own. I am using PPRE2 rom editor, move editor tool. There are effect codes for what the move does, in numbers like (80) for moves with recharge (Hyper beam, Giga impact etc) , (17) for sure hit moves (magical leaf, Swift etc). However I can't understand which code is for making the attack work on only opponents field like Earthquake, Surf does damage to only opponents pokemons. How to make Draco Meteor damage all of opponents pokemons instead of just one. How to make close combat, hammer arm reduces opponents stats. How to make heal bel restore hp along with healing status problems. I tried using codes from heal pulse which can heal a targeted Pokemon along with code for targeting all of party Pokemon from heal bell. But it doesn't seems to work, it only takes status problem only. I also had using Pokemon ROM changer tool , it is very easy to use as it gives direct text information about what the move does, which Pokemon are affected, which gets stats changed etc. The downside is i can only edit vanilla ROM, it doesn't work on hacks. So I tried to extract the vanilla ROM edited move data narc file(a/0/2/1) and move it in the Moon Black 2 rom. It works, however the pre-edited ,oves in the hacks are also changed, some MB2 exclusive moves are also changed back to normal. Can I get some help in understanding the move effect, target code in PPRE2 toolkit so I can change the move data while retaining the edited data of the hack

Open PokeHx Go to "Tools" on the top Data Encounter Database (second from the bottom) Now at species you type "Ditto" Press "Search" and there you get tons of dittos. You can rightclick one -> "view" and then it loads it with all data for it. If you want a older one, scroll down and do the same Its easy, like just try around and explore what the programm gives you! But the issue with the pokemon home track will remain, just saying.

I didn't know that. Gen 3 is the only gen I've ever had. I got an emulator purely for fun and to get access to sapphire again, as my cartridge has been missing for years. I never got to play with anyone or do trades, as my house only has the one DSLite, and we never had a cable, even if I'd wanted to trade. Is there any other means I could use to get more shinies? I like the Gen 3 games, and find it rather disappointing that shinies are so sparse there.

I don't quite understand the mention of the later games, since I specified I wanted an older gen ditto for an older-gen game (fire red/leaf green), but sure? I'll look into the tools, but when I tried before, it all seemed too complicated and I feel like I lacked too much context/understanding for that

My game keeps crashing in the tutorial when i go up the stairs after Nuzleaf shows you how to hold the B button. I get a translation error. I changed the starters to Goomy and Larvitar. It worked fine going up thoughs stairs. Then i decided i wanted Misdreavus instead of Larvitar. When i edited the mod again, this happens. I even tried with Buneary. Now i cant get the error to stop. All these pokemon were edited on different starters and i did start a new game. I'm using the LayeredFS. crash_dump_00000001.dmp

I'm using a Gen 7 save to edit/copy a Pokemon to get each of the starters with their Hidden Ability in each ball. For all of the Gen 2-5 starters, the Dusk, Heal and Quick Balls get the message "Invalid: Can't obtain Hidden Ability with Ball". I think that should be legal through breeding, and everything else (including Hidden Ability in Apriballs) passes or fails as expected for Gen 7. I've attached 2 versions of basically identical Chimchar - one in a Luxury Ball that shows as legal, one in a Dusk Ball that doesn't. 0390 - Chimchar - 509E3F34F992 - Luxury.pk7 0390 - Chimchar - 50A03F34F992 - Dusk.pk7

Extract your save. Then modify your save on PKHeX. Then place the save back.

The Masuda method was introduced in Gen 6. In previous generations having a foreign Ditto won't change anything.

You know that PKHeX got a "Encounter Database" under "Tools" where you find tons of valid data for lots of pokemon from different versions I dont think it would be any help to have a valid file anyway, due to the newest change in Home, you cant trade any Legal pokemon to it due to the transferId being missing, at least last time I tried it, it showed pokemon from "Go" and "NDS and below" as Legal but crashed as soon as I wanted to send them to home to get them into a different game. Edit: Please correct me if I said smth wrong

I've spent the last several hours looking to no avail. I'm trying to get a foreign ditto (anything other than english) and I can't find anything that's valid for my gen version. I'm trying to get one for FR/LG, but can't find any that work. Most are from newer versions, and have too much info, which leaves me confused on what the heck I do to get them into my game. Trying to insert them bombards me with messes of "invalid data." I haven't found a single one for Gen 3, and am feeling rather defeated. I don't understand PKHex beyond the very basics, and am not a coder by any means. I just want a valid foreign ditto PKM file for Masuda. The oldest gen ditto I found was gen four, which PKHex said was invalid or corrupt and couldn't go into my game. I'm sick of finding files from the wrong versions, or from posts that were made too many years ago. I'd appreciate good IVs, but I honestly don't care at this point. I just need it to be foreign, valid, and work. Please help.. TL;DR: Need foreign ditto (not english) Gen 3 only, up-to-date file, pkm file only, must be valid. Hope for good IVs, not picky tho

It doesn't change even when I make the changes

Start a new save and import the Gen 5 Living Dex pcdata.bin from here. It has all Pokemon but on different levels. Alternatively you could use the ALM plugin and generate your own Living Dex mons. All will be level 100. https://github.com/santacrab2/PKHeX-Plugins/releases/latest

What you found was the archived version of the old project which states to go to the Plugin Pile for the latest version.
