How do I save my Pokémon on 220 bytes?

I have PokeGen 3.0b21

And I am more than able to edit all my pokémon and make them all wonderful and whatnot.

But I see everywhere that people are working with 220 bytes pokémon this time around, and PokeGen doesn't seem to have that option when its time to save.

Is there a program that converts them? or something?

Thank you for your time.

Hi, i have a question related.

I tried loading a 4G pkm file using pokegen and saved it into a 220byte B/W pkm file. I then used ir-gts-bw to transfered it into my white cart. The pokemon was downloaded successfully.

I'll like to ask whether converting the pokemon this way will create a pokemon that is totally same as the in-game poketransfer-ing.

Thanks for the prompt reply.. so that means if i load the pkm file in 4thgen mode and then change to 5thgen mode when saving, i can get exactly the same pokemon data as if i had poke-transferred from the 4thgen.. right?

Another question I'll like to ask is what is the diff between a 220bytes and 236 bytes pkm files? Can they safetly be converted without losing any data?
