I did do a Google search and I didn't find the exact answer I'm looking for although I did find a QR that works but it didn't answer the part of being able to go online with then and battle or trade with those pokemon

Hi, This was probably already answered several times but I couldn't find the exact answer that I was looking for so do forgive me for posting the same question once again. I finally managed to get myself a copy of Moon and I've used the injection with QR codes before so my question is, does this still work like it did for ORAS? I have 2 3DS, one fully updated and another that hasn't been updated for ages so I can do the injection with the QR code. Will this still fully work on SUMO and without getting me into any troubles for going online with the Pokemon? I don't intend to create illegal Pokemon but if I want to make a Shiny Charizard full IV and all that. I'm very sorry if this was spammed once again and I appreciate any help you can give me
