  1. That is denoting where you enter in your desired TID/SID in Hex Value form. Also, do we have codes for: -x999 of all items -x999 of all medicine -all TMs and Hms
  2. Does anyone have a working code for Show SID for Black2 & White 2 (US)?
  3. You've done a fantastic job with the PokeGen editor to this point, Codr and I would gladly pay a small, one-time fee to keep you working on it. I love the potential upcoming additions you have in mind and look forward to them, but somthing that I personally would love to see is: -A way to generate a code to edit TID and SID of the player character
  4. While this can be fun for just screwing around, I personally would rather just get the events on my own; it's more fun that way and also maintains the rarity of the event poke, as opposed to all of a sudden every little snot-nosed kid has all of the event legends and such because they used an AR code. Speaking of which, there's really no reason to add in the events to PokeGen when there are already existing codes which do the very same thing. PokeGen works so well because of its simplicity and lack of being bogged down by other junk. If you want all of that extra game editing crap just use PokeSave. I would prefer that PokeGen stays the way it is.
  5. hmmmmm that's really interesting; thanks for the info.
  6. Okay, so I've created pokemon using pokegen and they work 100% fine (tested all of them) on Random Wifi. Held items, abilities, movesets, all good. However, when I go to upload a battle video, it says that there's something wrong with the pokemon. Now I've checked and re-checked everything on my pokes and I am absolutely lost as to what the problem could be. So I'm asking anyone who can correct this problem to please respond to this and I'll send you the file. I'd greatly appreciate it guys. Thanks. Edit- So I changed a few very minor things on my pokes: happiness from 0 to 255 for all. I still can't upload Random Wifi Battle Videos, but get THIS: I battled myself (used my same team from white I use on random wifi, the one that I haven't been able to upload) because I have both black and white and two DS systems and I WAS able to upload the video....using the EXACT same team....Now I'm even MORE lost as to what the issue is. So far I've only been able to upload battle videos with my 4th gen teams that I bred and raised and pokeshifted over from DPPTHGSS. To set things straight here, my pokemon obviously all have legit stats, PIDs, and movesets. The items they're holding are: choice specs, choice scarf, choice band, shell bell, life orb, and flame orb. And any attacking move has had PP MAX used on it.
  7. This is a problem we're all experiencing. Regardless of whether or not you created the pokemon to be legal in order to successfully pass the wifi hack-checks, for whatever reason the Battle Video uploader will still not allow them. I know this because I have 100% legal PokeGen created pokemon that I can freely use on Random Wifi, but when I try to upload the video, I receive the same message. It's got something to do with an extra line of coding most likely that's being checked and we just don't know what exactly it is yet.
  8. I agree with this; as long as you remember to save it yourself, there are no issues. I'd rather it be that way than it auto-saving everything I do.
  9. Ok so here's a question: I created Wifi-legal pokemon using pokegen, and they're working fine on wifi. But when I try to upload the battle video of my victories it says there's something wrong with the pokemon on the video. Any ideas? It doesn't make sense that they'd work in the battles (Random Wifi matches) and not be able to be uploaded.
  10. The PID values and such were in fact changed from Gen IV to V. Whether the issue is inherently from Codr's PokeGen is up for debate, as it IS still a beta and still has bugs, example: when I generate the code for the AR using pokegen and hit "start" on the AR all I get is a blank white screen-something that NEEDS to be addressed asap. So yes, the likely senario here is that we just do not know enough about the BW PIDs to match up the characteristics in-game. I do not believe that would affect wifi-leaglity however your Contrary Snivy would.
  11. The same rule applies. You simply mark the shiny box in the search criteria and if one exists it will list it. For example, a timid Victini with all 31 IVs to start with, before allowing the PID generator to do its thing and lower them as necessary to create a shiny, hit the search button and after several seconds or more it brings up this PID for a shiny Victini 2759309360 with the IVs changing from all 31 to: 31/31/31/16/26/5. Then freely edit your IVs.
  12. Using PokeGen, I believe you *check* the box that says "shiny", in the PID Finder window, but I hear it takes a while for it to search for a proper PID for it and it will likely drastically lower the IVs in several stats.
  13. If you truly believe that, then it shows how little you know about these games and all you're doing is mindlessly hacking pokemon...Base 100 stats aren't amazing. Base 100 means that each stat, if a beneficial nature and 252 EVs invested, can reach a max potential of 328 (also assuming perfect IVs). Comparing Mewtwo to any base 100-all around Pokemon, is like comparing a nerf gun to a freaking .44 magnum, you just don't do it. Just because some of his stats reach 300+ due to his IVs and EV investment, doesn't mean Victini's stats will all reach that high; only the stats you invested EVs in will reach, or get close to, their max potential. PokeGen will only generate legitimate stats, as will the game as soon as you put your pokemon into the PC which will auto set the stats to whatever they should be according to your pokemon's IVs, EVs, Nature, etc.
  14. This isn't the proper thread for that question. There are plenty of threads which pertain to SIDs and methods of obtaining them. The easoest way is to upload your game save via flashcart, to your computer and then viewing your SID from there. There are also Action Replay codes out there which supposedly show you, but few to none of them work properly.
  15. Speaking of Hexidecimals, does that mean you know them for BW? I've been unable to get my game to start when I have the PokeGen generated code activated on my AR, I just get a blank white screen. So if I had the hex values for everything that is checked by wifi's legality checker, then I could input that crap into PokeSav (though I'd much rather use PokeGen but it just isn't working out atm). If you had those values would you be willing to PM them to me? Another question: What's the deal with generating PIDs for pokemon that only get 1 ability and the PID will say Ability 2? Also, thank you for making this list of everything that is checked for by wifi; it's really handy and it confirms that I made all of my pokegen pokes properly, and that there's something else going on that's causing it to not work.
