  1. Hello everyone, I'm theSLAYER, your (hopefully) friendly moderator here! First of all, I'll like to thank everyone for their contributions and co-operation thus far! I've decided to have a fresh start for the contribution thread; hopefully more people will read this post, before they post Golden Rules on what is allowed on this thread: Contribution of events from users Pointing out whether said posted event(s) is legal or faked <The only discussion allowed here> Contribution of information regarding other events already posted or event missing from database Strictly no begging and no requests. Want to hype? Go to our Discussions and FAQ thread! HOW TO CONTRIBUTE! 1. Pokemon Link Extractions Dumping and injecting can be done via PKhex 2. Wondercard file (WC6) Extraction can be via Pkhex or using NTR method (recommended, especially for local events) Requirements for such contributions: 1. DO NOT SUBMIT EDITED <or faked> WONDERCARDS, or Wondercards from Private Servers <if you do not know what this is, don't ask> 2. Attach your wondercard in a .zip or .rar file, and upload onto our system while posting. 3. Submit a full video starting from the booting up of your device, and show the event location + receiving of the Pokemon MISSING WONDERCARDS! Please do not submit Powersaves extracted entries. Event Compilation Our individual files can be found at our on-site Event Gallery! If you know how to download files from Github (not sorted by region), an overall archive can be found here on our git page. I regularly move old posts to another thread, to prevent cluttering of this thread.

  3. Hello to all. I have just figured out that the midi mappings that Pokemon Black and White in bwmidi.zip (which are direct rips of the game files), and PKMN_E.zip (again, direct rips of the midi files) use are almost completely compatible with the sound mappings for the default Roland MT32 and CM32L patches when mapped to 16 channels. A way to emulate this on GS modules is to force all channels to the last bank, and set the drumset to the last one in the default bank. This gives MT32 Sound, which maps better than GM, and is universal across all areas of the game's music. For a DS-sized MT32 bank, you can either google "2GMGSMT.sf2", "4GMGSMT.sf2", "5GMGSMT.sf2,", "8GMGSMT.sf2", or "16.5mb gm gs mt32 bank v2.51.sf2", and add "LuckyMax" to the query. The bank was made in '01. It is not very accurate to the real MT32 though. I will provide a 1 gig sampleset via google drive, but in case a homebrew music project is in need of even more sounds, I will provide a mod of Zandro Revielle's DB50XG sampleset which has the inaccurate MT32 samples, and the SC-88 samples from a similarly accurate SC88 soundfont in this post. The link to the 1GB uncompressed 24bit MT32/CM32L/BW/RSEFRLG/HGSS/DPPT soundset is here https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3iwOegRlzCXVkZ6WmFHNzNhcTg Attached to this link is the soundfont containing the DB50XG Mod, the SC-88 Samples, and the MT32/CM32L samples: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3iwOegRlzCXWmRQbktoWDBmQTA The file above is 32.5MiB Below, I have an even less accurate, but more faithful version of the MT32 samples, but with GM and GS drumsets, and GM instruments where possible. It is 8mb. MT32.sf2

  4. This is a simple program to view the teams in Pocket Monsters Stadium (JAP) and all data relative to the pokémon. It can also export individual pokémon as jpk1 files to use with pkhex. It is worth noting that the teams and trainers from Level 50-55 Tournament are (in theory) copies of the participants and winners of a real tournament that was held in japan. jpk1 code is heavily based on pkhex. Download: https://github.com/suloku/PMStadium_Viewer/releases/tag/0.1 Source code: https://github.com/suloku/PMStadium_Viewer/ ps: this needs a z64/v64 rom, you can find a converter here: https://www.zophar.net/utilities/n64aud/tool-n64.html ps2: this is for the japanese only game, not the international Pokémon Stadium 1, you can find an editor for it here: https://github.com/Guernouille/Stadium_Editor

  6. Are we talking about trash bytes here? Just mentioning due to colosseum/xd getting rid of those, thus making them virtually the same. A generator for all the events for me would just be something nice and insteresting to have both for users and documentation purposes on the algorythms, even though I'd rather have compilations of the real deal (which has been in the works for a while) or distro rom dumps. The only real use would be for those pokémon that came with exclusive moves on the events, as you can get anything else trough legit means and RNG manipulation (probably?).

  7. upload the pkm it's a trade encounter but the error message indicates it can't match it.

  8. That's how it's always worked though. Congress makes the laws, the president enforces them (and can pass executive orders to help enforce them), and the Supreme Court interprets them (and settles disputes).

  9. Pretty sure this thread used to be locked (or maybe it just dies due to no more replies - it's hard to say since it was so long ago), but as long as discussion remains civil, I'll allow it to continue. I agree to an extent. As a technicality, the 6 days refer to the earth specifically, mentioning nothing of the time between the heavens & earth being created and the first day. Some believe God created the earth in literally 6 days, asserting that because the word "day" means what we think it does in the rest of Genesis, it means the same thing in the first chaper. However, the first chapter is written as poetry, so I think "day" here means "an indeterminate period of time", which easily fits the big bang theory, defined as an effect of the universe being created, while saying nothing of the cause. I say that the cause is God.

  10. My word, that was a lot of reported posts - let's say that if an entire thread is report-worthy, just make one report for the thread while mentioning other posts need review as well. As for the warn points, no action will be taken until you reach 100 points, which I really don't think you'll reach in less than a month. (And even I got some minor infractions in the past.) For some reason, all of the threads that were locked in vBulletin are unlocked during the migration, so it's very likely the thread was locked at one point. I see no reason to hide or delete the threads, since many of the posts weren't that bad in my opinion (until they devolved into flame wars). I didn't look at all of the reports (thanks for taking care of them, @theSLAYER), but the few I looked at simply expressed an opinion. Because of the controversial topic, it's very easy to offend someone without meaning to. Sometimes people will be offended just by hearing an idea they don't agree with. In my personal opinion (and I am not officially speaking for Project Pokémon), I believe that moderator action should only be taken against those who are intentionally trying to offend or are clearly flaming. After all, the U.S. constitution guarantees free speech, and while Project Pokémon is not necessarily bound by U.S. law, I believe we should keep this right to an extent: we should be free to express honest opinions about things without consequence, but we should make a reasonable effort to not be intentionally offensive. There's a bit of give and take on each side. Imagine a debate about the existence of God and the fundamentals of Christianity. If I were to say that Jesus is the only way to heaven (aka what happens after life in this world), there would likely be at least one person to be offended, since this statement in the Bible opposes every other religion out there; however, by saying that I would not have gone out of my way to try to offend anyone; it's an honest belief. In the same way, everyone else would be free to disagree, explaining why they think otherwise. And who knows what interesting ideas could come from that discussion. (Unfortunately people tend to get emotional after a while of being called "wrong" and start intentionally offending. Then the whole thing devolves into a flame war, warranting moderator action. Let's see if we can do better if/when there's another debate out there.) I'm going to close this thread now, because while pretty much anything is up for discussion in the debate forum, moderator actions are not. If anyone has any questions regarding reporting posts warnings, feel free to PM a moderator like myself.

  11. The program has been updated with 3DS Link support (Dream Radar). This can be used to obtain all Dream Radar exclusive pokémon without actually using Dream Radar, which is good news for emulator users. Also, this covers another feature that was Pockestock only until now and surpases it, as the flags for each legendary pokémon can be wiped out so they can be trasnfered multiple times (even on real hardware). https://github.com/suloku/BW_tool/releases You may read the research thread here if interested:

  12. I'd change that to "I don't have the skills", but it seems someone has already covered the difficult part!: http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php?topic=7861.0 Basically, it's a custom rom that gets sent over to GBA and does stuff to the savefile. The example changes the player name's first letter to "z", but adding a pokémon to the party/first slot would be easy. The only thing really missing would be pokemon generation algorythm, the downside is that this uses gamecube/wii connection, but maybe doing it over two GBA wouldn't be that difficult for someone familiar with GBA development. Edit: I think it does alter the savefile in RAM, so changes only apply if the player runs the game and saves afterwards.

  13. Hey, back once again after being absorbed into Zelda for the past week. After seeing a huge chunk of the stat labels filled out in the latest release the people who did that deserve a huge thanks! I still managed to find out a few stats. 051: Times twirled 057: Pelago Wild Visitors tapped 120: Best Super Singles Streak 121: Best Super Doubles Streak 122: Best Super Multi Streak PS Some are most definitely unused but a couple are still in need of being identified so keep it up, researchers!

  14. New stats: Tab 000 (69c00): # of steps taken Tab 001 (69c04): # of game saves Tab 161 (69e0a): Pelago training sessions Tab 162 (69e0c): Pelago hot springs sessions I've also managed to decipher the 0x2A bytes and here's what I found: 11: Used for caught wild Pokemon that appear on Isle Abeens (Pokemon caught from Poke Pelago MUST have this byte at the least) 16: Indicates that the Pokemon was recently placed in a training ground on Isle Evelup 17: Indicates that the Pokemon was recently placed in a hot spring on Isle Avue (Pokemon that hatched with Poke Pelago as a location MUST have this byte at the least) So 0x2A just shows what said Pokemon's latest activity was in Poke Pelago, and it can be 16 and 17 for any other Pokes.

  15. As Pokemon Bank got an update to include a new feature to track your certain stats from all 6 current 3DS games I have found out some new values! Sun & Moon Pokemon caught fishing: 69C1C (tab 007 in PKHeX) Pokemon evolved: 69C24 (tab 009 in PKHeX) Fossils restored: 69DB4 (tab 118 in PKHeX) ORAS Wild Pokemon encountered: 1F414 Pokemon caught fishing: 1F420 Fossils restored: 1F5B4 Pokemon caught in one day: 1F5A8 Pokemon evolved in one day: 1F5B0 XY Pokemon caught: 1E41C Pokemon caught fishing: 1E420 Fossils restored: 1E5B4 Pokemon caught in one day: 1E5A8 Pokemon evolved in one day: 1E5B0 I've also been working on finding data in Poke Pelago for visiting wild Pokemon. One reason is so we can view the data in case there's a shiny Pokemon and it can be extracted without playing the waiting game of luck. The Pokemon are in the 260byte encrypted format (.bin) but only use the first 232 bytes from what i've seen. I managed to extract raw data from a Pokemon visitor by taking the first 232 bytes from the following offsets and putting it into another template Pokemon's .bin file. Visiting Pokemon 1: 3C4AE Visiting Pokemon 2: 3C59A Visiting Pokemon 3: 3C686 When looked at in PKHeX the differences of the raw data compared to when captured were a blank met location, date, OT and also under Extra Bytes 0x2A had a byte of 10 and when received had 11. Example of mine: Lapras RAW.bin Lapras claimed.bin Proof of editing encounters: http://imgur.com/ceWkzpZ http://imgur.com/W2HmtCB
