My breloom's Technician ability and Bullet Seed were marked illegal, although they are both legal (Technician is a Hidden Ability, Bullet Seed can be learned through breeding.) Focus Punch is also marked "illegal" on it, even though it can also learn that move through breeding: https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=6795088

The Pokémon in question no longer exists, but if it's what I think it is, the legality analysis is working as intended.

I checked this Rayquaza a few levels ago and now at lvl 56 it's saying the PID is "hacked (valid spreads: 30/30/25/5/2/17, 4/0/16/26/1/0)". With the time I spent finding it, and the multiple checks I've done, I'm wondering if this is something I did this time round to cause this https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=6878756

Never mind, all the pokemon I moved from Pearl have the same problem :/ chalked it up to bad game pak

Pokecheck is not for screening hacked Pokemon in effort to make them more "lagit". You've not read the OP of the thread; only report false positives with Pokemon you obtain naturally in game. Not hacks.

Pokedit is garbage. We're not telling you why your hack shows up as hacked.

It seems that Pokécheck is having trouble determining the different forms of the Japanese Oblivia Deoxys events - one that has Speed form moves is showing up as from the Normal form wondercard, thus the moves from the Speed form show as hacked.

Few false positives and weird things.

https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=7576043 - this Metagross shows up as if it were caught as Metang. Caught at Lv. 55, still at that level. Plus, shaking patch can't contain Metang, only Metagross.

https://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=7553015 - Dream Ball shows up as if it were an Apricorn Ball, even though the Pokémon's OT is from Unova. Also, Shiny.

https://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=7555776 - Shiny Meloetta is not valid.

Hi all,

I have recently used pokecheck for testing of my pokemons from my pokemon black2 and hgss game. However, I encountered this when i uploaded my scyther caught in hgss into pokecheck.

https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=7763157

It says under location: Possible method J/K slots don't match encounter.

The scyther is not altered and is legitimately caught in the National Park of Soul Silver. May I know what that error means? (ignore the date caught as my DS date was not set properly)

Hello,

I had two false positives on my german event Giratina and Palkia, I guess the event is missing in the database because I got it there.

Giratina: https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=7770346

Event for Giratina (see Europe): http://serebii.net/events/dex/487.shtml

Palkia: https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=7770353

Event for Palkia(see Europe): http://serebii.net/events/dex/484.shtml

EDIT: I looked up other Pokemon with this ID in the Pokecheck database, seems every one of them which isn't english/SOM2013 are tagged invalid.

Dialga seems to work normal in all languages, see user tootie a few posts before me

The method behind the Bug-catching contest isn't entirely known, so that kind of things happens sometimes.

Looks like those two Wondercards have to be added to the database.

Alright, this is probably a bit off topic, but I'm not exactly sure where else I can put this. Also as a heads up, I'm using a third party hardware to rip my save, and pokegen to rip the .pkm from my save to upload to pokecheck.

PokeBank is actually blocking some pokemon that are pokeshifted via pokecheck, but they can go through like normal if pokeshifted on the actual hand hold. I'm not sure if it's how pokecheck is shifting them or what not, but I figured it'd be worth mentioning.

For example, my ID RNG abused nicknamed Raikou, Rak'shiri.

4th Generation: https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=7851072

5th Generation .pkm that was shifted via pokecheck: https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=7851073

5th Generation .pkm that was shifted using my DS: https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=7851445

I knew something was up when my friend who RNG abused that ID to nickname our Raikous was able to go forward, as well as her RNG abused ID Keldeo with a nickname. As a test, I shifted both a crown Entei and crown Suicune both on pokecheck and on my handheld. They were able to go forward with no problem, but they are from the Gamestop ID (and not nicknamed). I tried to upload the Suicune and Entei .pkm that were shifted on my DS, but they wouldn't appear in my box. ((I assume because they are identical in every way. Raikou does upload though, even though it appears identical so I'm baffled on that one.))

I did some other additional tests at the suggestion of Dewey911, and this also did not go forward: https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=7048977 This is also a WIN2011 pokemon.

I did not have any problems with other pokemon from my Soul Silver. Just this Raikou and that Celebi I tested for science.

Edit: Actually, I realized last night that I didn't actually transfer the Celebi (I thought it was a Gen 5 .pkm). Celebi does go through when pokeshifted on pokecheck, the Raikou still won't that was pokeshifted. Mmm... Not sure what else I can really test.

Pokécheck may be assigning the wrong character for apostrophes when transferring a 4th gen format Pokémon into 5th gen format (notably non-nicknamed Farfetch'd). Apparently anything with an apostrophe that was transferred via Pokécheck is being blocked by Pokémon Bank.
