When I mark a Pokemon for codes do I need to mark all of the symbols on that Pokemon?

I want to use the following codes to change the IVs of Pokemon I've hatched. Would these have any effect on the hex values of my Pokemon and make them illegal?

Thanks again dsa, but I think your code suffers from the same problem as TrainerZer0's-- LONGCode is LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG

and NO$GBA won't accept it in the AR window. Is there any way to split the code or something to put it in in pieces so it'll work?

OR, is there a code to activate the LP you attached to the Dwebble? I think if there's a code that'll just *activate* a preexisting LP it should solve the problem.

that code was made for the retail version of BW so idk how to use it on a ROM....better go out and buy a Legal Copy at a Gamestore near you! :D

Re: Pokemon Black / White (US Release) Action Replay Codes

thats the code i used before, it doesnt work, but the tm 44 modifier seems to do the job

that confuses me.....because it works fine on all of my pokes in my retail copy of Black UK!

Seems my prayers for a Black City/White Forest inhabitant modifier has been answered! I have no idea who made this originally, but it's NOT me, even though I was planning on working on it ;)

I haven't tested it myself yet as I haven't been able to reach Black City yet.

Are you sure that code is correct and works? The game freezes up when I click "Confirm" while Marking. I am using the second code you gave me on the Pokemon White US Retail Copy. :S

Any non-marking IV, Nature, EV codes?

These marking codes tamper with the Pokemon's PID which makes them utterly useless when trying to build an online team.

Are you sure? Allykat claims that the IVs this gen aren't tied to the same process that determines the nature/gender/coloring of the Pokemon, so they don't mess up the PID. The IV marking codes should be fine. In fact, I tried this out by changing the IVs of some Pokemon on a Black cartridge, and I was able to get into a couple Random Matchup wifi battles with them. Unless Random Matchup doesn't use the same legit-checker that general wifi does, the IV codes seem to be safe.

That said, there must be someone who has seen or heard of an IV marking code that marks to a number besides 31. A few posters in this thread have tried manually editing the hex values, but they say it didn't make a difference. If anyone knows how to achieve a non-31 IV marking code, it'd be cool if they'd mention it here.

Well, I used the IV modifier marking code, the nature modifier L/R on status screen code, and the EV marking code, so can you tell me which of these may have been the one to cause the Pokemon to be "illegal" for Wifi?

Oh, and for your other question, to make an IV either than 31 change the "1F" on the sixth line. KEEP THE "1F" ON THE FOURTH LINE. The last two numbers on the sixth line determine the IV for the IV marking codes. Hope this helped!
