Games: Pokemon Black and White: Mascot Pokemon Revealed

So @ wraith89, are you going to buy Pokemon: Black & White? I am planning to buy Pokemon: White, but seriously Zekrom really looks more like a Digimon rather than a Pokemon, don't you guys agree?! Reshiram looks rather similar to Arceus if you look closely though.

Dialga and Palkia were enough to convince me they were going to a more Digimon-esque direction. And I doubt I will buy this game... unless stuff like Flareon/Pidgeot/Articuno gets buffed or something (just to be on par with the current metagame or something). It just won't be the same to me... so no, I'll stop at HGSS for now. But please do tell me how the game turns out.

I like them both! Reshiram looks like a Pokemon that's like, an angel or something. Zekrom is cool, but not Pokemonish.

Alright @ wraith89, I will. I am really starting to think that I might buy Pokemon: Black instead of Pokemon: White. Reshiram is starting to grow on me as for Zekrom, well you can just say...(Sigh)!

no one seems to be talkin' 'bout this yet. but most of us may have heard the possibly Dragon/Electric type combination for Zekrom which maybe a let down to people who guessed it would be Dragon/Dark(Like me). so if it is true then there is a slimmer chance for the creation of a new type like Light type. so what would they possibly make for Reshiram?

tbh , all the new pokemon make this game seen like the designers have gone back to basics , all the pokemon look like very simple designs

I think that Zekrom represents all that is darkness and Reshiram reprisents all that is Light

i like them both and its said there are going to be greater differences in the game than simply pokemon differences, maybe story alteration?

Doubt it, just 'cause the person that said it is a known electric type lover and also happens to like Zekrom doesn't really make him an electric type so that's probably why noone is talking about it, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to make a judgment like that. Could be true still but not likely, he doesn't even have any close electric type features.
Also I was thinking Dragon/Dark as well though I would have preferred a dark/steel for Zekrom
And Light type...I really hope not I want the type match ups to be reworked though.

Oh please not another rework of the types. Adding another type, or even multiple new ones, I can take, but I don't wanna have to learn an entirely different type set up for the new games.

I, personally, would love to see the introduction of a new light type. I don't think it would take to long to get used to and would definitely match the look of Black's awesome new mascot.

As for the significance of their existance, i'm going to out on a limb and guessing Life(Reshiram) and Death(Zekrom).

I just checked Bulbapedia and apparently there are more news...Legendaries are Dragon/Fire and Dragon/Electric....and there's a CHINCHILLA POKEMON!!!!
