Unofficial Pokémon Event Calendar!

Hey all,

I recently started up a Google Calendar for Pokémon events. Anytime a Pokémon event is officially announced, my intention is to update the calendar to reflect the most current and publicly available information.

Basically, the information I intend to post is:

• What kind of event it is (Pokétch app, Pokéwalker course, Pokémon giveway, etc.).
• The dates and times of the event.
• The location of the event (whether it be Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or local wireless; available regions for the former, and hotspots for the latter).
• Which games the event applies to (Diamond / Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold / SoulSilver).

At this time only the events that are available to people in the U.S.A. or people with Japanese carts are posted. At some point this week I hope to add events for other regions, etc.

In addition to events, I have also decided to include major release dates for the main RPG series... probably not the spin-off games or TCG stuff though. Maybe someone who's interested could make separate calendars for that stuff. basically every kind of event worth noting, including the Pokémon Video Game Championships.

Perhaps the best part about the calendar is the fact that you can subscribe to it using your own Google account, or whatever other calendar program you may have. The relevant URLs are as follows:

(I personally have this calendar synchronizing to my iPhone, complete with default reminders and alarms.)

When I clicked on the first link(XML) and viewed the calendar, I saw that you posted: "Pokétch course..." shouldn't that be "pokéwalker course"?

I heard that various times this year their was a world pokemon tournament with an Event Shiny Eevee, but I do not know the locations and dates. Sorry. I hope you can tell us the locations and the dates please, If it is no trouble at all.

That's kind of the point of the calendar. Look at it. You'll get your information.

Is it possible to get the events to work on the microsoft works calendar? i tried to get the ical one to work since that was the only download one, and it didn't work. is there a way to download it so that it works?

I have never used Microsoft Works' calendar. However, I would think you'd have better luck trying the XML one.
