Mew Certificate

Hey everyone is it really that all legit mews must have a certificate or was just the one on 1998 that came with the certificate.


PS does anyone have one? is it like a diploma or what?

Oh many that was so many years ago, I had a Mew Certificate from 1998 but I am sure I threw it away at some point. Me, My brother, and Sister all had one.. I think all it had was the Mew picture, its OT and its ID. Pretty useless, but I remember it looked shiny in the light. I was like 10 or 11 back then.

I Had one of the but the one I got was off ebay and it was a fake the guy printed it off and put his own Trainer ID Number and Also marked out the orignal number

I been looking to get my hands on a real one just to own it

What's the point of having one now?

Especially if all you have is the certificate and not the actual Pokemon itself?

I still have both lol. My mew is on crystal and my offical document is hiding somewhere in my closet.

You have to much free time on your hands if you have them all at level 100 without cheating. I only got to 136 on my game without cheating and only 8 or so are level 100 not 151.

did you do it all yourself? how long did it take? i would be worried, the cart is old, you might lose the save

Close to completing the dex for the first time in my life lol

Not all mews had certificates- the one at the event I got mine at didn't hand them out.

I got my certified Mew from gameshark lol

I never gotten a certificate for mew.

When I got my Mew they put a sticked on the back of the cartridge. Think it said "Mew Inside" or "Mew Owner" or something like that. If you guys want I could make a scan and post it here.
Also got a T-shirt and some pictures from the Celebi Tour that took place in Belgium.. so many summers ago! I'm getting old..



Wonder if I still have this thing.. mine was in English or Dutch.. not sure!
Just sad to know that I put all this effort in collecting these Pokémon and yet.. unable to trade them to my Platinum

Getting Celebi from the "Mew Machine" atleast that is what they called it back in the day and the back of the Celebi Tour struck.

Also as a bonus here are my cartridges with the "Mew Inside" sticker on the back.
