Your first shiny Pokemon?

My first shiny was a geodude in emerald. then i got a macop in pearl and just resently a tentacool in soul silver

My first Shiny (Gyarados aside) was a Lv 30 Female Raticate. Got it on Route 27 in HG. Usual reaction to Raticates when I am not levelling is to run. Needless to say when I realised it was Shiny, I didn't run.

First encounter was in Gold and it was either a Rattata or Geodude, but I always can't seem to remember which exactly; I had many, but the battery died and so did those that I didn't transfer to Stadium 2. Same story with Silver, but less shiny ones, although I played Gold the most. As for Crystal I still have some, but I haven't bothered to finish the game; I soft reseted for a Totodile far more times than I could count sheep, and I also bred a shiny Dratini, which I instantly used.

RSE, FR/LG, and DP helped me further my collection, but by then and now shiny PKMN had become more of a joke due to how easier they're to hunt and breed (and hack). I do own Platinum and HG/SS, but I haven't played them as much as I do Diamond and Pearl (although Pearl at a lesser extent).

I've only had one not-guaranteed shiny, and that was an Elekid on Crystal. I didn't realize it was a shiny untill I resat the game though.

My first ever shiny was on Pearl in which i has the swarm Beldum and i just went in the grass and the third one was a shiny Beldum i was shaking.

LOLOLOL i remember the time i saw a shiny spinda, and i didnt see the funny sparkles, so i thought that the spinda was just any old spinda, and ran from it cus im like :3 "stupid green spinda". My bro told me what shiny pokemon were after and i got so mad. The first shiny i ever caught was a zubat in meteor falls. It was long after the spinda incident, so i knew what to do. I caught it and was happy with it.

Man, that sucks; I know a few people that had the same experience as you. Have you caught anything else after that Zubat?

Not counting the In-Game-Red Gyarados in the Gold, Silver, Crystal, Heartgold, and Soulsilver Versions, When I played the Platinum Version, I caught a Shiny Graveler, I have never ran into 1 before.
In the Soul Silver Version, I very surprisingly encountered a shiny Magikarp in the Slowpoke well within only a few days of play.
I have not caught any since.

I never caught a shiny before (except for the Red Gyarados). I got a shiny starter when I played my first pokemon for the first time... It was a shiny bulbasaur, but I turned off the game without saving... I liked Charmander better, and didn't know what shiny meant
