Movies: Movie 12 Website Updated - Speculation About New Pokémon

Thank you Floot. I am so tired of this "notched" business. How many times does Guested have to say it? Its not like Guested lives in japan or anything >.>

Anyway, it could be possible that they are JAGGED eared versions of Pikachu and Raichu. I hope so, since a Pichu is otherwise useless even with a good move set. I would want to evolve mine and I would be very upset to find out it evolves into a normal Pikachu. As far as a new species of pokemon goes, I doubt it. Seems too soon for a new generation when they are focused on HG/SS

Theres now a trailer on the site (kinda) which has what i think to be a tutorial on how to get the jagged ear pikachu by team rocket. Also after the trailer, thers profiles on Arceus, Giratina, Palkia and Dialga. And when you hove over them, Arceus say something in japanese but finsihes it sentence with pikachu.

My thoughts? Its possible that its a revelation of a few Pokemon from the next generation. Why would they hide Pokemon that are already well known? Revealing one or three Pokemon before a full new generation revelation has become a bit of a habit for Nintendo. The timing seems right, as well. Who knows? We'll see soon enough.

Middle is clearly pikachu top right, and jagged ear pichu bottom left.

Adding in the Jagged-Ear Pichu in the second one with Pikachu makes a lot more sense, as I was having a hard time thinking of how Pikachu would fill that odd pose all by himself. I can totally see the poses they take in it now.

The final Arceus one on the right (One thal looked like a Raichu to me. lol) makes more sense pose wise as well, but while I was expecting multiple of Arceus, 3 of 'em was more than I was thinking they'd go with.

Same here, but to be honest could we really expect new pokemon
so close to the final dpp movie.
O'd say wait until towards the eng HG&SS is released to talk 5th gen

They announced Bonsly while we were still in the 3 generation, I'm pretty sure they will announce some future Pokemon this generation, at the very least though. But one of those has to be the Jagged Eared Pichu.

I find it highly unlikely these are new pokemon. We're too far off the next generation of games. I think it more likely new pokemon would be released during the film/anime series that immediately precedes a new generation, in this case the HGSS film(s)/anime if they get made. This pattern goes back to Lugia in the 2nd movie (last movie before release of generation II), Latias and Latios in the 5th movie (last movie before geneartion III), and Lucario and Manaphy in the last two movies of generation III.

I like the idea of different Arceus formes. Discovering a room in the game where Arceus can change forme could be the story behind the screenshots of the player with Arceus and Cynthia.
Also, since Giratina has two formes it could be probable that Palkia and Dialga also have another forme each.

20 bucks says these are merely "new formes" of Pokemon that will probably be in HeartGold/SoulSilver (like the Notched-Ear Pichu).
