need help editing saves with enciclopedia pokemon.

i'm having a time editing my save files for pokemon fire red. i'm sure i'm doing everything right, but after saving the file and importing it to visual boy advance, i check my party to see if the pokemon i made is there but there's nothing. it's not even in the pc. can somebody please help me with this issue?

I'm not sure PokeGen did support Fire Red sav files.

enciclopedia pokemon does, and that's the editor i'm talking about.

sorry. i'm new and i didn't know where else to post this topic. i thought the pokegen forum was refering to save editors in general, not just one specific save editor.
