I was wondering if it was possible to edit trainer data, specifically your trainer ID/SID? I want to play through White 2 when it's released here in the UK with some low-levelled Pokemon I've bred/caught on my copy of White, as playing through with one team then battling with another feels a bit impersonal... and with the addition of Join Avenue, it's now so much easier to correct EVs.
I know that in black and white, you could create an AR code with Pokesav and use that on your game, however do you have to change anything else to make the game think the Pokemon are native? Will your save file be caught out by Nintendo's legality checker?
And in the case of B2/W2, is there any way to do it as of yet without Pokesav? I know how much of a taboo topic this is, as I've seen a couple of threads with quite heated "Pokesav vs Pokegen" discussions...
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Are there any plans for editing trainer details to Pokegen in the future? I've checked the Pokegen thread, and there wasn't anything there about it - and while I realise that Pokegen (Pokemon Generator) is primarily meant for generating Pokemon, I think it would be useful to have a small trainer editor alongside items, Pokedex, etc.

Any word on Trainer Editing codes for Black 2 and White 2 english versions? I've been doing quite a lot of digging and haven't seen anything yet.
Change TID (Select)
Change SID (Select)
Change Trainer Name (Select)
Change Rival Name (Select)
works on any B2/W2 and every language.
Desired IDs are in hex, so have your decimal ID -> convert to hex -> replace FFFF with the resulting hex SID. For names, use the Unicode or compatible text hexes to replace 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 of the namefield. Each text character is a half word (4 hexes).

Replace the #### with 007A to have z for that character.Code:0041 A 0042 B 0043 C 0044 D 0045 E 0046 F 0047 G 0048 H 0049 I 004A J 004B K 004C L 004D M 004E N 004F O 0050 P 0051 Q 0052 R 0053 S 0054 T 0055 U 0056 V 0057 W 0058 X 0059 Y 005A Z 0061 a 0062 b 0063 c 0064 d 0065 e 0066 f 0067 g 0068 h 0069 i 006A j 006B k 006C l 006D m 006E n 006F o 0070 p 0071 q 0072 r 0073 s 0074 t 0075 u 0076 v 0077 w 0078 x 0079 y 007A z
Character name: (1111)(2222)(3333)(4444)(5555)(6666)(7777)(8888)
It's simple. Be sure to have FFFF after your last character to terminate the name field, then follow it by zeroes if space permits.
I can open the save file and see the correct details. And, I can change the Trainer information and output the file. But, when I put that save back onto the retail cart it doesn't have the new information. And I know I have to format the cart before loading a new file.
I've used it successfully with Black and White though.

What do you mean FFFF to terminate it? After 8888??It's simple. Be sure to have FFFF after your last character to terminate the name field, then follow it by zeroes if space permits.
Like if my name is 8 letters long, it's giving me ??????*??*????*??
I can't have "Falloutt" for some reason.
Everything is correct, after the eigth letter it just bugs. How do you close it without enough room in the 88887777 line?

Should probably just have 8888 be FFFF to terminate.
Posting this again because it's extremely relevant: Trainer Info AR Code Generator
I don't get why this was deleted last time. This thread is about editing the trainer information in black2white2 and I created a tool to do just that. It's a lot faster than manually editing the code. Would appreciate a PM to if you guys just delete my posts for no good reason in the future.
I am developing a pkm editor with many tools for legality, and I have added Trainer info editing for BW and B2W2 save files, if you would like to check it http://projectpokemon.org/forums/sho...ta-Checker-BW2
I hope this helps
