How do I load a save after I've edited it?

I added a few Wonder Cards and a custom C-Gear Skin to my White 2 save with PokéGen, and now I can't figure out how to load it in Desmume. It won't let me continue my game, only start a new one. This is the first time I've done something like this so I probably made a basic mistake somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated; I'd like to get back to the game as soon as possible.

File -> Import Backup Memory.

That's what I did. It restarts the rom and when I get to the game menu, there's no "continue" option, only "new game".

Are you editing the *.dsv file directly, or are you using File -> Export Backup Memory first?

If you are using File -> Import/Export Backup Memory, then maybe you can upload the save file.

I did File > Export Backup Memory, saved it as a raw .sav file with the same name as the rom, edited in PokéGen, saved it, did File > Import Backup Memory, and a box came up with some settings; I left it on default since I didn't know what to do. I guess I was supposed to change the settings? Here's the save file:
