Welcome to the Black 2 and White 2 translation project thread! I was here briefly in the past for the Black and White project, but I'm back now to see if we can do the same thing for Black 2 and White 2.
I've made Github repositories for the main files, and for the story files separately. The 0000 folders will be the ones to translate into English, and the 0001 folders will remain Japanese. The files almost mirror each other, except for the fact the files in 0001 are Kanji. They should be used as a reference for translating the files in 0000.

How to contribute to the project
The procedure is the following. If you want to contribute, sign up for the Github, fork the project on github, translate the text in a file, then commit your changes, all commits will be revised and the ones deemed adequate will be pulled into the master branch of the project and used in the patch. Translating to languages other than English: If you are interested in translating to another language please fork the original project and name yours something like Pokemon Black White [Language] Translation we will clone those and generate patches, when you tell us that there is enough progress for a patch to be generated.

Use these steps if necessary
Step 1: Have a clean ROM of whichever game you're patching. Don't ask for one.
Step 2: Open DeltaPatcherLite and select the patch file.
Step 3: Select the clean ROM as the source file.
Step 4: Apply.
Then you're good to go! Let me know of any bugs, and stuff that you would like prioritized for the next patch release. Expect new patches at the most every three days.

EZ Flash Vi Working (Latest firmware).
The cards that are "working but needs modifying" currently have a bug where you cannot enable the c gear without crashing the game. Make sure you save after the first gym straight away as a precaution in case you forget to select "No" when it asks to enable C Gear.
Keep in mind this may not be 100% the same for everyone, I am basing this on my results and that of people in the IRC.

This pull request will put Pokemon, Abilities and Moves at 100%. Items that were in BW1 are also fully translated.
Edit: The work above was generated entirely by script. This script (and consequently this translation) could be further extended by modifying the script to include natures, types, stats ("Attack," "Defense," etc.) or anything else that's likely going to be an easy word-for-word replacement kind of thing. I'm tapping out--got some things that actually need to get done today, but feel free to modify my script yourself.
We've made a lot of general progress in the main files. Items, Abilities,Natures, Battle Systems, Menus, etc. Trainer names are WIP. Trainer dialogue will be started soon as well.
V1 is released. See the OP for details.
