Thread: Source Code?

    Source Code?

    Hi

I am very interested in the source code of PokeGen and would be very glad to have a look at it. Is that possible? Or just a portion of the code? Or could you at least tell me what language you used?

It would benefit me as I am learning to program.

The source code isn't public. It's compiled as C++, but doesn't use most of the C++-specific features, so it's more C-like.

If you are learning to program, I'd recommend Visual Basic or C# instead of C++. VB and C# are way easier to start with.

I'm actually obliged to learn the following five languages: Eiffel, Matlab, C++, C#, Verilog.

I just wanted to inspect the source code and maybe learn something by imitation.

If you're still interested, KazoWAR has given the source for his B/W Roulette program, which edits the save file (particularly the battle box).

for other general stuff Mat/Bond697 has given the source for the now defunct PIDRNG tool -
