Thread: Invalid Save File

    Invalid Save File

I have seen a few people with problems with invalid save file. I tried following the instructions of those who helped them figure it out, but none of them worked.

I am trying to put pokemon from pokemon generator into DeSmuME pkmn pearl.

I tried exporting the file as both a raw sav and a no$gba to use in the generator, but it keeps saying "invalid save file".

I also tried using http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php?id=30729768 to convert but i am not quite sure which I am supposed to convert to (i dont know if which converted sav file makes a difference).

I am using pkmn generator 3.0.3 and DeSmuME 9.7

    Please help

I have the same problem. I ripped my save from my Pokemon Diamond cartiride with an R4i Save Dongle, but it says "Invalid save file" when I try opening it with Pokegen. When I try opening my SoulSilver and White saves, it works, but not for Diamond.

The save file data is simply incorrect. Something is going wrong with your hardware (Which seems to be common.) or you're converting it with faulty software.

I didn't convert it though. Also, when I didn't have the actual cartridge and had it on a flashcart, the game save still didn't work.

Note that I said "or". I can't give you magical solutions to your problems. There is something not being done like the actual games. The problem is for you to find.
