How can I delete sprites on my Pokemon Diamond save file without it permanently affecting my rom?
Sprites? Could you elaborate on that? Sprites belong to the ROM, not the save.
Well my game has a few glitches, sprites are where they shouldn't be and it looks the same on every rom I use my extracted save file on, so I believe it is the saved game with the glitch (corrupted data) If I were able to delete the sprites which should not be where they are, my game would be fine. It randomly glitched and sprites stuck on a tile where they shouldn't be. It happened once I reached Hearthome City, Keira is stuck and so is her buneary! I have noticed I am not the only one with this problem, as I found somebody with the exact same problem here:

I thing (s)he means clearing the flag in the save that indicates the sprite is present.

I have found the route of this problem. The cause of this problem is the action replay code:
This code causes numerous affects, the one shown in the video where the sprites of Keira and her buneary 'stick' and the other problems are that the Jubilife and Sandgem wi-fi rooms become blocked again. Can anybody tell me/help me with a solution to this issue? Perhaps reversing the problems? Thanks.
Mess with the flags the game uses, you mess with how the game runs.
- Restart the game
- reroll to a previous save
- find what those values once were before you changed them and then change them back with another code
If I had to blindly guess, I'd try this code before anything (flip the flags)
