Would you be able to just edit Pokesav and put this feature in, or is that not possible?

We didn't code pokesav so we can't do that. Pokesav will go extinct soon enough so even if we could it would just not be worth it.

But if we could do it, wouldn't we just expand on it? Then it wouldn't go extinct. <:B

Pokesav's programming architecture is questionable at best. It really is better to start from scratch, trust me.

Is it possible to make an installer, so all you have to do is right click , and select "Convert To Party PKM", or something like that?
Save Editor for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky

Why can't I think of anything else to put as my avatar?

Re: Tool: PKM File PC <--> Party Converter

I have been able to associate PKM files with my programs before (along with giving them an icon for Windows Explorer), but I have not yet figured out how to write to the registry to add context menu entries and stuff.

Besides, I wouldn't want to associate this program with anything. I'd rather save that stuff for the full library / program, so that SAV / PKM files can be associated with a variety of context menu options. Although, I suppose making it a configurable option for the user to choose isn't a bad idea.

uh mm ... i've already used your program and
codemonkey ... have you already figured the "Trash Data" algorithm in the PKM files
it's in 0x9C-0xD3 "Unknown - Contains Trash Data"

    the values shouldn't be all 00 =_=
coz' i see my party pokemon (using the game, not your program) and the values are mixed of "FF"(most of them) and "01" and "00"

well ..i know that it can be fixed by putting the pokemon in the box .. but that will make me work twice , right

put aside of that, the program itself is really2 nice .. since it can automatically calculate my stat XD

But I guess this is easier (albeit not as fun )

I don't think anyone is quite sure what that data is just yet. Regardless, it has not affected gameplay in any way as far as I can see if I make those values all 0s, so that is what I have been doing so far.

Likely, the data in there means something, we just don't know what it is. The Unknown/Trash section used ot extend past 0xD4 all the way to the end of the PKM data until I found that 0xD4- was Capsule Data.

My bet is that at least part of 0x9C-0xD3 has to do with Mail, but I haven't looked into that yet.
