help me hack!

Ok I can use pokesav to make some ok pokemon but I know nothing about hex values(what are they anyway)or how to make pokemon legal or any of that kind of stuff ,and every time someone tries to explain to me it doesn't make any sense. So is there some kind of pokemon hacking for dummies type thing somewhere?

The hex values are bytes of data that aren't programed into Pokesav, but it gives you the option to edit them anyway. If you use Pokegen, you shouldn't have to mess with them at all.
