Q: What areas don’t affect my post count?

Q: How do I add an Avatar or Signature?
A: On the top left of the page, click User Control Panel. This will give you many options. Under Settings & Options of the left menu, select Edit Avatar or Edit Signature.

Q: Where do I post a discussion regarding the site?
A: Community Feedback Forum

Q: Is there a list of the User Ranks?
A: Yes, check Project Pokémon's Forum User Ranks Guide. It includes all the ranks and is updated regularly.

Q: How do I get a Contributor user rank?
A: Contributers contribute frequently, however, there are various kinds of contributors. Please check the Project Pokémon's Forum User Ranks Guide for information on the various types of Contributor.

Q: Someone broke one or more rules. What do I do?
A: Click the Report button found on the bottom of their avatar/username. Then fill out all necessary information.

Q: I made a mistake with the title. How do I change/edit it?
A: Click edit on the first post of the thread you created, click "Go Advanced" and there will be a box above the edit window. Edit the title there.

Q: How do I delete a thread I created?
A: On the first post of the thread you created, click "Go Advanced" and there will be a Check-Box option below the edit window.

Q: How do I use BBTags?
A: Look at this guide

Q: How do I add someone to my friends/contact list?
A: Click on "User CP" on the top of the page. In the left column, select "Contacts & Friends" and edit/add the contacts you desire.

Q: Where do I post for a specifically small Pokémon question?
A: Check the Official Help/Small Questions Thread for DPP! sticky.

Q: How do I get Shaymin into Sky Forme?
A: Use a Movie Event Shaymin, speak to the blond lady in Floaroma Town and she will hand you the Gracidea Flower. Check your Key Items, select the flower and then select the Shaymin to be turned into Sky Forme.

Q: How do I get Giratina into Origin Forme?
A: After defeating the Elite 4, head to Turnback Cave, solve the maze, enter a spinning portal at the end, travel through the Distortion World and find the Platinum Orb. Attach the Griseous Orb to any Giratina and it will turn into its Origin Forme.

Q: I don't understand what EVs. Where can I find help?
A: Check EV Training Guide. In addition to this, you may post questions there regarding EVs too.

Q: I don't understand the roles of Pokémon in Competitive Battling. Where can I find help?
A: Check the Competitive Pokémon Role Guide.

Q: What is Competitive Battling and the rules that usually fallow?
A: Check the Common Rules Of Battling sticky. It provides the definition of many common phrases used in Competitive Battling.

Q: Where can I find this Pokémon and info on it?
A: Check either the Platinum Pokédex or
Diamond and Pearl Pokédex.

Q: Why can't I post a thread in the Pokémon HeartGold and SouldSilver forum?
A: For the time being, new threads require moderator approval before they can be posted. Check this announcement,Slight update: Thread moderation is now on!, for more information.

Q: How do I know what events haven't been found?
A: Check the Event PKM and Wondercard Contribution Thread.

Q: Can the Generations interact with each other?
A: The 1st and 2nd Generation games may communicate with each other, but the 3rd Generation can not communicate with either.

Q: Were there Effort Values in the 1st and 2nd Generations?
A: Yes, and in fact there were no caps on the amount of Effort Values a Pokémon could get.

Q: In which Generations was Missingno. in?
A: He was only available in the 1st Generation.

Q: How can you catch Celebi in 2nd Generation?
A: Not in a legit manner. But using a Gameshark one can use the code 91C089DA to have Kurt give a GS Ball to you. You may then enter Ilex Forest and catch Celebi, but this may only be done in Crystal. There is a glitch that can give the player Celebi, the details are in this video.

Q: When the 1st Generation was remade, was Missingno. removed?
A: Yes, Missingno. was removed from the game in the remakes FireRed and LeafGreen.

Q: I can't find information on a certain Pokémon. Where else can I check?
A: Check the Bulbapedia Pokédex.

Q: What is Project Pokémon's stance on Wifi cheating?
A: Our rules explicitly state, in verbatim, "We do not support or condone cheating at the expense of others. If you give us an explicit reason to believe that you are cheating or plan to cheat in a tournament, sponsored by Nintendo or otherwise, we will issue a ban". This applies to (but not limited to) official Nintendo tournaments and Pokémon Black and White Wifi Rated Battles. Read this thread for more information.

Q: Is my Pokémon Legal?
A: Try Sabresite's Legality Checker and post your results in the Save Editing Help Forum.

Q: What makes a Pokémon Legal, Illegal and Legit?
A: Check the top part of the Pokémon Legality Guide.

Q: Can a Pokémon created or modified be Legit?
A: No. A Pokémon created or modified is not legit.

Q: Will a legal Pokémon work on Pokémon Battle Revolution?
A: Yes, if the Pokémon is legal, it will work on PBR.

Q: How does a person make a shiny legal Pokémon?
A: Select the option for a shiny Pokémon in SCV’s PID<-->IV Generator.

Q: Exporting the Pokémon as an Action-Replay code does not work?
A: Due to translation limitations, a second program was created, POKESAVARDSOutput.exe. Load the Pokémon using this version of POKESAV. If you are using the Platinum version, disregard this message.

Q: Will editing an existing Pokémon still be legal?
A: Yes, as long as it follows this article.

Q: How can I change my Character or a Pokémon's sprite without ROM Editing?
A: This is impossible without the use of ROM Editing.

Q: I tried entering an OT for a Pokémon in Pokesav, but it won't allow me to enter it?
A: Push the backspace about 20 times. This only occurs with Windows Vista users.

Q: My Pokemon and/or Tranier ID keeps reverting back to 65535, why?
A: Trainer ID and SID can only be between 00000-65535, otherwise it is reverted down to 65535.

Q: I can't access the PalPark option in Pokesav Platinum (US), why?
A: The information is still being researched, but for now COM has not included it in Pokesav

Q: What is a narc file?
A: A narc file is a part of a game's ROM that may be edited, exported and imported.

Q: When will Pokémod be releasedl?
A: Sometime between noon of tomorrow and the next super nova of a star in the local cluster of the milky way.

Q: What are Trash Bytes?
A: Trash Bytes are information in a Pokemon that only Wild NDS or GBA Pokémon have.

Q: What Pokémon have Trash Bytes?
A: Three types of pokemon have trash bytes. These are: Hatched pokemon, Mystery Gift pokemon and Pal-Park pokemon.

Q: Where can I find more info on Trash Bytes?

Q: What is the Save Structure of a certain part of DP?
A: Try here.

Q: Can I edit my ROM to modify the game's map?
A: It is possible in principle, however there are no automated tools to edit the map yet. If you want to do this, you will need to conduct your own tests and research.

Q: Can I edit my in game Trainer sprite and/or Pokémon sprite?
A: Yes. Try checking the ROM Editing Tools.

FYI, just a couple things I noticed reading through this for the first time in a while:

I think for the Shaymin / Giratina formes questions you should remind people that they are Platinum only.

Also, I think you should change PokeMod to PPSE.

Pretty much anything goes in signatures as long as it's work-safe. The "no advertising" rule is more lax in signatures meaning you can link to your blog or website or whatever. Just make sure you aren't linking to or displaying any adult or illegal content, and you're good to go.
