REQUEST: Pokémon Black and White (U/E) Action Replay Codes

*** CORRECTION: USA/CANADA VERSIONS ***

With less than 2 weeks before the official releases of Pokemon Black and White in North America, I figured it was about time to start a code request list. I am going to leave out the obvious stuff (ie. Max Money, all PokeBalls, etc.) that likely see the light of day within the first 24 hours of release (or leaked ROM/someone stealing one of the Mall Tour copies.)

I figure this would be a nice way to help avoid repeats and also give a bit of a challenge to those masters of finding codes.

Here's the list of the codes that I would love to see:

  • PokeBalls used are "Critical Captures".
  • Show Secret Trainer ID in place of regular ID.
  • Modify which Pokemon is the daily Swarm for the day.
  • Modify the location of the wandering Legendary Pokemon: Thundurus to Route 1.
  • Modify the location of the wandering Legendary Pokemon: Tornadus to Route 1.
  • Modify which 10 Trainers are in Black City.
  • Modify duration of the Trainers' stay in Black City to max.
  • Modify which 10 Wild Pokemon are in White Forest.
  • Modify duration of the Wild Pokemon stay in White Forest to max.
  • Create Shaking Spots on the map.
  • Obtain all Pokemon Musical Goods (necessary for a Star on your Trainer Card)
  • Change the Level of Cynthia's & Morimoto's Pokemon all to Lv 100! (for the fun of it.)

For those with requests for the coming games ~ please add to this thread ~ and make it a one-spot-stop for those who have the skills to bring these codes to life!

(I will re-upload the XML file that I have for the Version 1's in the next couple of days.)

Yes, it's a wild pokémon modifier. It essentially gives 649 masterball and 100 ultraballs on the adventure items. The way it works is 649 masterballs minus trashed masterballs equals the national dex number of that pokémon need to be caught and 100 ultraballs minus trashed ultraball (level) you want it caught.

Ex. (Press L+R) 649-648 masterballs trashed = 1 (# dex for bulbasuar) and 100-99 ultraballs trashed= 1<level you want it caught> (Press Select) to encounter in any grass area.

Greetings everyone!

My request, if anyone would be able to figure it out, would be to find a code to enable the pokeshifter early on in the game, or at least a code that would artificially progress the story (make the game believe the E4 hs been defeated, and so on) so that it'd again enable access to the Pokeshifter. Doesn't have to be reversible, since I'm using a second cart with a disposable save file for this.

For those who have NOT tested this kind of code on other Region games. Nintendo has taken the first steps to Code-proof the Pokemon games. The Wild Pokemon modifier will actually cause the game to go to a "blue screen of death" for certain species.

Just to let you know that might be a challenge. The requirement to use the PokeTransfer is obtaining the National Dex. The minimum requirments for that would be all Gym Badges, beating the League, and seeing all Unova Pokemon (I assume since it was a requirement in Sinnoh.) There are a few story plots that might become dead ends. In which case, you might not be able to reach certain points in the game. (Example: I think it is Professor Juniper who gives you the National Dex but you also bump into a certain points along your journey... which might result in you not being able to get the upgrade if you simply code your way through the story.)

(If you want to speed through the story use a couple Lv 70+ Pokemon and turn on the walk through walls code {so you don't need HM's.})

I see. Which is probably I'll either just use a buffed up team to speed through it, as you said, or a combination of "all badges/complete dex" codes. Was mostly asking for a code because I'd want to both be able to start with a traded charmander AND not have the story spoiled, but ah well! I'll see what I can do. Thank you for the reply and the explanation!

I don't recall even JP versions having the wild max IV code, and even there was, I'd like to see a US version. And if someone could shrink the 6 individual IV mod codes into a single one for all six stats, that'd be great.

A code that lets you use whatever pokemon you want for the battle subway / online random battles would be nice.

The Online battles are regulated by Nintendo for a reason. Your game is checked by Nintendo's servers so no code will help you here. (Even if it was possible, you would be risking the potential for your cartridge to be banned from the servers.)

I'll just request for the english port of japanese instant egg at the daycare code then.

Japanese version

Instant Daycare Egg: Press Select

94000130 FFFB0000

2223C9D4 00000001

D0000000 00000000

Note: This code makes incompatible parents produce eggs in the Japanese version. The female parent still takes priority. Would prove to be a very useful code when breeding.

Edit: Found the Pokémon Black (U) wild modifier code.

Once I have access, I plan on uploading two codes.

One of having TM's 1-94 + HM's

One of having all TM's + HM's (but for now this one is illegal since there is NO way legally to obtain TM 95.)

Keep in mind... this has the potential to fuck with your game's story mode. Since now you can have only 1 TM.

If I'm not mistaken, there were working codes that did the same thing for the battle facilities in DPP/HGSS. Maybe wifi battles are unlikely but I don't see why not it wouldn't work for the battle subway.

Seeing all Unova Pokemon is not a requirement as you automatically get the National Dex after defeating the Elite Four, N and Ghestis. Cedric gives it to you as well.

My request would be to see some event Pokemon codes (Victini,Fateful Encounter Shiny Legendary Dogs, Celebi etc)

This isn't really a code request in some way but I request a list of the items in hex format, specifically for item modifier purposes. A move list in hex format will also be wonderful for a future "TM x Modifier" code to teach a Pokemon a different move in the hex list.
