(Wraith89 vs. Greencat) Shoddy Warstory

This is an epic battle between me and Greencat. Yes my username is different here and I will tell you why later.

I posted that, and yes, they are humiliation tools.

They don't help people learn more about battling, they help people scout opponents teams and destroy them. I myself used Greencat's warstory to OHKO his Clefable with a first turn Explosion from Metagross and swept his team with Breloom. I designed a team with 3 Clefable counters and a perfect counter to each strategy he had. Not only that, I had a Crobat Hazer and a Phazer ready for use.

Yeah, pathetic right? Well Greencat spent like an hour with some "minor tweaks" before he battled me so I had plenty of time to edit my team. =|

The most common leads in competitive battling are Metagross ( explosion ), Bronzong ( explosion ) Heatran ( explosion ) Azelf ( Explosion ), Infernape ( Close combat ) , Roserade ( Sleep powder ) Swampert ( Roar ), Hippowdon ( roar ) All of them easily deal with a first turn Clefable and can setup entry hazards.

The now common anti lead Gallade, Weavile and Aerodactyl also Taunt the slower clefable and Gallade + weavile taunt it AND get super effective hits on it with Close combat and Brick break respectively. ( Not to mention gallade + weavile know fake out. )

Also warstorys are fun, Humiliating and good to learn from. Not one or the other, all three.

And Wraith fight me sometime tomorrow.

Also if you want a ridiculously cheap team,Endeavor + Extreme speed + Focus sash smeargle,Abomnasnow to set up hail, Endeavor + Focus sash Cleffa, Clefairy and clefable and Stallrein. You essentially get a free kill on the first pokemon, take out 3 other members of the opponents team with the three Clef's and then finish off the last 2 with Stallrein ( which only works in the hail ). I made this team a while back and it got me to the leader board on shoddy in 2 days.

I never thought about it that way. Now everyone knows my team... I think. And peeking at other people's teams makes it less fun @_@

Yeah, you're right.

I'm not sure if I can fight you today or anything... and I don't really think I like playing with this hail team ATM (I played so many rounds with this beloved team... and I want to change a little bit).

I'm going to make a UU team (the classical UU with Blastoise, Vileplume, the Nidos, Poliwrath and the likes, not that ugly UU Smogon devised currently with Milotic and Spiritomb and all) and want to play and test with that for now.

Everyone is playing OU they forget about the vast possibilities of strategies in UU and the cool Pokemon that exist in there. I think UU is going to be my favorite tier... but don't worry. Sooner or later I will fight you and you had better win

Once Platinum moves come out, those random Bullet Punching Scizors and Heat Waving Zapdos (<--- HATE) will just destroy my team with impunity. I enjoyed my hail team while the metagame was still D/Pesque... hopefully it'll be a greater challenge with the Platinum moves. But in the meantime, I will NOT play with my Team Fimbulvetr. Don't challenge me right now, but I do owe Enkidu a rematch. That will come later.

Anyone want to try playing classic UU with me later? Still testing stuff out... and when I say classical, I mean the UU of the old, not the new messed up one made by Smogon (it looks really screwed up... and stuff like Articuno and Tangrowth are NU @_@). I'll make a list about the allowed Pokemon later.

Wait, so your making a whole new team, but what about your Walrein? I remember when I first went up against that with my old team it completly killed me :P

I'm not making a new team... I'm sticking with my same team. But I won't be playing OU in a LONG LONG time (with FEW exceptions)... but maybe I'll change some movesets to fit with the Platinum metagame, and possibly some Pokemon. My Hailteam is VERY fun indeed... but maybe I'll use them, or use a completely different team if I play OU... but not in such a while...
