Glitch at Fifth Gym (Hodomoe City) in Pokemon White

I keep having this weird glitch playing Pokemon White. It happens in the fifth gym (the one in Hodomoe City run by the ground-type gym leader). When I enter the building on the first floor, and press "A," my character is suddenly transported to the elevator, as though he was moving from the lower floor and back up to the ground/top floor. This happens whenever I press "A," no matter where I'm standing. In short, I can't get downstairs! Is anyone else having this problem? Can it be fixed? (Sorry, I don't know much about ROMs...)

I'm playing on Desmume, on a file called b-pokemonw_patched.dsv by Project Pokemon, on OS X.

Maybe desmume have problem for playing pokemon black and white.......
or unpatched?
