I know I already posted once, but nobody seemed to know the answer or just didn't post back. If anybody could enlighten me as to why my game might be freezing when trying to take my V3 save and use it for V4 (yes the names are matched). I'm pretty far and I absolutely don't want to restart. I've heard that you can just make the names the same and it will work, but that isnt working for me. Help?

ok, has anyone figured out if we deleted some lines or something for the union room stuff?

if anyone could please tell me where the file is when the pokemon learn a move, since i have found the in-battle learning stuff

Is it freezing or something? From what I've noticed Union Room/Battle Subway has some sort of filter that doesn't let people in that don't use pokemon with original names... I might be wrong but that seems to be the trend. You can always compare it to the 0001 folder since that was left untouched for moments like these... but i doubt there are any lines missing or I wouldn't have been able to compile.

when you enter the union room, it gives a weird ? symbol and i cant seem to find it in the union room stuff, also the reason im asking about the learning moves stuff is i have gotten the battle learning move stuff and i need the quick view of the other file

i dragged the rom to the patch and it created the bak file, said the patch was complete, etc but when i loaded up the rom, it was still in japanese.

That is just the exp fix you need to use xdelta to patch it to english

That happens on my r4 (original) but that isn't because of the English patch it's happened before you apply the English patch too

Hi, having some problems, when I patch my game using Delta GUI, the size of my game file does not change, and I checked the change log and basically none of the translated things in that log are on my game, theres only a bit of english every maybe 500 lines. e.g. the first meeting with reisham the only line of english there is by cheren saying we'll hold them off then the rest is in japanese, also when you aquire the dark stone all the text outside the musuem is in japanese and all the bit before that as well, cannot reply back as I am going to school but will check this post when I get in.l

@raguto: hopefully i find my fixed stuff since me and my girl has been working behind the scenes and when she updates her stuff, it should be fixed afterwards

edit: ok, my girl found her pokedex sheet she has been working on, this should have alot of changes in it, enjoy ^__^

So I updated to V4 from V3. There's a little misunderstanding here I think. On the V4 change log is says "(vgboy) Complete Story...Thanks". But not the whole file has been inserted into the game. I'm at the 2nd gym and pretty much nothing there is translated (I just tried talking to cheren & N which should be translated by the file). So I think you may need to clarify where the story translation ends. You got me confused atleast.

umm... if you would read the other thread, that it has been translated but we still have to insert it to the files, so be patient
