Downloaded v 2.1 but the save button still doesn't work for me.

Hi,

I just discovered that there seem to be a number limit to the species that we can change its evolution.

I have just lost count the number of species I have changed but it seems when I go to like say, Slowpoke. It show the Invalid Argument error.

anyone hasa clue?

Hi,
about dotnetfx35.exe it is working, or else you wont be able to run the program at all.
About the program, if you want to use pokémon diamond, you need to be sure of 3 things:
- You are using 4º Gen Evolution Editor, not 5º Gen Editor
- The Rom must be perfect clean, no patches, or hex edits, or modifications
- It must be Japanese Rom or USA Rom, UK Roms are not supported (for now, but i will add support for them)

Try these and then tell me the outcome.

I am facing the same problem. I have the 4th gen evolution editor, usa rom and i am using desmume as my emulator.
After all the editing as soon as i hit save rom, its just a click and then nothing happens, and also when i go and play and reach the required level that i have set for the pokemon, it does not evolves.
plzzzzzzzzzz help meeeee....!!!!

Apparently Pedro's tool has some bad errors. He's the only one who could help you, really, unless there's a kind soul out there with a lot of programming knowledge.

There will be other tutorials and tools for doing this yourself in the near future. Pokemon ROM Changer should be able to do this, for one.
