Quick question. I see that when you're editing an Pokemon, there are seven different bubbles. Are those to make multiple scenarios? Like would I be able to have Gantoru evolve by trading, OR have it evolve at level 40 two separate conditions that can work?

yes, every pokémon can have a total of seven different evolutions. take eevee as an example, it ican can evolve into 7 different pokémon, with deferent methods

I have downloaded dotnetfx35.exe and have tried to use it before and after I have open Pokemon 4º Gen Evulotion Editor
I have tried 4º and 5º generation but I dont understand this
I open 4º or 5º Gen Pokemon Evolution Editor
select nds mode file
open the nds file, on 5º generation I get http://i55.tinypic.com/2enlsw6.png on 4th no message.

I select Kadabra
take trade evo.
evolve to Alakazam
and take save. (the emulator is closed)
open the emulator and continue and nothing have happened.

what do I wrong?

Hi,
about dotnetfx35.exe it is working, or else you wont be able to run the program at all.
About the program, if you want to use pokémon diamond, you need to be sure of 3 things:
- You are using 4º Gen Evolution Editor, not 5º Gen Editor
- The Rom must be perfect clean, no patches, or hex edits, or modifications
- It must be Japanese Rom or USA Rom, UK Roms are not supported (for now, but i will add support for them)

Try these and then tell me the outcome.

Great program, it works wonderfully. I have used it with the Pokemon Black English Patch v7 and I have not encountered any problems with it. Keep up the good work.

got a problem here, i use patched pokemon white version (patched with no freeze, and got it from a page already patched). i do all the nitro explorer stuff extract the archive pokemon white/a/0/1/9, opened it at the evolution editor as a narc, selected gantoru (who evolves by trade) then saved, reinserted the "modified" 9 with the nitro explorer, then closed it and the evolution editor, opened my pkmn white file at the emulator, but nothing happened.

tried too with a pokabu in a clean rom just after defeting cheren and belle.

for the record i use the action replays of exp fix and save fix and no$zoomer of Windspro.

and for the people who find that no change has happened after editing and saving, you MUST reinstate the NDS/narc file in the ROM, otherwise it wont work.

That is realy strange, does your rom have ay kind of changes, and where did you get it?
maybe the version that you downloaded was already patched.

Not this one, this is the 5º gen editor, try the 4º gen one (see my signature)

Firstly, thank you for your efforts. This is a very nifty program that saves everyone a lot of time.

I just want to report a bug I've been persistently encountering. It only occurs when I try to edit Eevee's evolutions. Whenever I try to click on any of the other 1-7 evolution tabs, the program immediately goes into an "Unhandled Exception Error," asking me to either quit or continue. Continuing does not do anything, since trying to edit anything else with Eevee quickly returns the same error message. I have not used any writing or typing, but have selected number / level values only from the drop box. This does not help, as the Unhandled Exception error pops up anytime I try to edit any one of Eevee's 7 evolutions. This only occurs for Eevee, because I have successfully edited both of Clamperl's evolutions without any error messages.

I also want to add that I am using the NARC mode of this Editor and extracted the 9 file as instructed. I am using Ver. 7 of the English patch.

Any ideas as to why this bug keeps occurring?

Hey guys, I just made this account to say that Pedro's evolution editor does work for the English version of B & W.

You need to use the program in Narc mode and fallow the directions in the readme.

To find the Pokemon you want to edit, look it up in Bulbapedia and find its Japanese name. Then look for that name in the evo editor, then you can make whatever edits you want. Save your file, then fallow the steps in the readme.

Hopefully this post will be able to help people who wanted to use the program.

Once Pedro250 updates his great program, feel free to disregard my post.
