Alright guys last thread got locked due to piracy getting out of hand, I ask that you please read the rules. Do not ASK about downloading ROMS, do not SAY you downloaded a ROM, do not give advice on how to locate ROMs. Otherwise you'll be banned. Rules in a Nutshell

Don't need to remake an intro to this as you should know what it is. So I'll just copy and paste what we had in the last thread.

Contributing to this Project
For this project we have decided to set up a git repository to make contributions easier. The link to the repository is here: http://github.com/projectpokemon/Pok...nslation-Files. The procedure is the following. If you want to contribute, fork the project on github, translate the text in a file, then commit your changes, all commits will be revised and the ones deemed adequate will be pulled into the master branch of the project and used in the patch. Union Room

Save Issues Desmume
To use your old saves with this translations in this emulator try the following:
Make sure the .save file name is the same as the .nds
If it's still in Japanese, in-game go to Options and change 'Button Mode(5th option down)'

Patch Instructions:

Obtain a clean ROM (Dump it yourself or find it elsewhere don't ask us or anyone in here for it)
Obtain a copy of xDelta GUI (Decided to be nice and link the one I used to make the patches: http://www.mediafire.com/?b7em3n4sn7hhmtr
Open xDelta Gui
Click "Select Patch" and choose whichever patch you downloaded for your version
Now choose 'Select ROM' and navigate to the clean ROM
Now click on "Apply Patch" wait until it's done
Try it out and give some feedback?

16.txt still needs localizing but it's more bearable now

And here we are...

Anyway, I wanted to mention that I did a little translation on some of the files in the 0000 folder... I believe 0000/0000.txt through 0000/0006.txt, and 0000/0008.txt. Only bits and pieces, though, and I'm not sure if I even properly committed them... I've never exactly used Git before, lol.

Anyway, I salute your efforts. YOU HAVE MY AXE-- er, my support.

Hello everyone, I'm having some trouble, and sorry if this is in the wrong place. After messing with the english patch I got it working on my r4sdhc running r4 wood 1.13, but I can not save. I tried loading it through ysmenu, yielding the same results. Anyone have any clue why?

Help for DSTT Users
Pretty much spent since day one dealing with getting Pokemon B/W patched up properly, went through pretty much every problem imaginable, thought I might try and help with any errors. Before doing anything, remember to BACKUP, if you mess up your firmware files too much, you'll have to redownload. You should back up all your DSTT files, and keep a clean version of the game for future patching.

How do I get the game patched and working on DSTT?
Click the link to the original guide at the top. If you follow those instructions properly, it should work. If there are still issues, check below.

The game is giving me a white screen
You haven't decrypt -> encrypt, encrypt -> decrypt'd properly. You must do it exactly how is said in the guide, otherwise you'll get the white screen.

The game is stalling on the load screen
Check your soft reset settings. Flick it to opposite of whatever it currently is. The clean version on DSTT didn't have soft reset issues, the patched version does.

The game is still stalling on the load screen
Switch to YSMenu. Simple guide is located above. The tick button for soft reset is on the game, middle button, in Japanese. Will be unticked to start with, must be ticked or the game will stall.

The menu is still giving me the ERROR=-4 message
You forgot to replace or modify your extinfo.dat and infolib.dat files. Make sure they're in the TTMenu folder.

The original Japanese games are giving me the ERROR=-4 message
Once you've modified extinfo.dat and infolib.dat, the old games won't work. Replace them with the files in your backup. They'll work again, and the patched versions won't.

My save from the original game is gone
Go into your game folder on your DSTT. Check the filename of your .nds (game) and .sav files.
Find your original (Japanese B/W) save, and rename it to the exact same name as the patched version, except with .sav at the end instead and it'll work. You shouldn't need to do any converting, it should work without any other hassle.

example:
Pokemon Black.nds
Pokemon Black.sav
(MATCH! These two saves will work together)

example 2:
Pokemon Black Patched.nds
Pokemon Black Clean.sav
(NOT MATCH. Will NOT work.)

I'm upgrading from v2 to v3 and getting a white screen
Did you patch a clean version of the game, or try and patch your v2 to v3? Patch a clean version. Remember to decrypt -> encrypt, encrypt -> decrypt. Assuming the Game IDs in the main post stay up to date, you should be able to edit your extinfo.dat and infolib.dat files (or hopefully not need to).

Do I need the exp or non-exp patch version
The latest DSTT software update comes with a fix for EXP inbuilt into it. That being said, I've been using EXP-inclusive patches and they work perfectly fine.

What card / micro sd are you using
All of the above was tested on an original DSTT cartridge, with an authentic SanDisk 2GB MicroSD card. I have not tested MicroSDHC, and have had a lot of trouble with fake Kingstons in the past. Buy authentic, there's a lot less risk of losing all your save games. Backup regularly.

Hope this helps any people having issues on DSTT. Spent the last couple hours tinkering with things.

Hey first off I want to say great job on the first release of the patch. Okay now i am reporting a bug, however it is not about the translation but something else o.O Toxic orb is bugged, it freezes the game when it gets activated. I was using a poison heal Gliscor online and the game froze, we thought it was just the wifi so we tried again, it froze again when Gliscor got his orb activated. I thought it might be something with Gliscors dream world ability (poison heal). So i started testing, tried toxic orb on my lepeord thing and it froze again. Then just to make sure i tested flame orb, however it didnt freeze. I also tested toxic orb with the original patch (not your english one with the AP) and it did not freeze when using toxic orb so just thought i would let you know im pretty sure its within your patch so if you could figure out why its doing this that would be amazing :3 Keep up the good work guys i would help but im hopeless at translating x.x
