The official web site, Pokémon GTS, will be closing on September 14, 2010. The announcement specifies that although the website will be closing, the Global Trade Station found in the fourth generation will still be fully functional.

I wonder why they're closing the site... I found out that if you mouseover the "for the latest news!" text at the end, it lights up. Just felt like saying that...
Most likely related to 5th generation starting.

Are they even doing any events then? With the part of much fun is coming I get the idea they will add the programming for some of the events that have occured/will be occuring in Japan (translated of course).
