We should also include the official logos that were released Maybe replace the "old logo" patch with these logos.

Did you apply Rudolph's AP fix? You will need to apply the EXP Fix to a clean game and then apply the Translation Patch to the EXP Fixed game. EXP Pokemon White Fix: Download

You actually patch a clean game with v5 when it comes out. Then you just make sure your save file has the same name as your newly patched game. Example: 'Pokemon White.nds' and 'Pokemon White.sav' will work So you don't need to patch v5 over v4. Plus if you were to do that, the game wouldn't work.

Just to put this out there.. If you pick Katakana as your Language then the credits will be in Katakana. However, If you pick Kanjii the credits will be in English. So I bet it would be possible to take the credits the Katakana option uses and replace it with the one that the Kanjii option uses.
