  1. Hi there, I've managed to extract my savefile and edit it as I would like with PkHeX, and now I have a theoretical question about editing savefiles. My question is as follows: Let's say I have a savefile in Omega Ruby, let's call it "ORAS1". What I want to do is extract ORAS1, back it up to my computer, remove my savefile from my 3DS, play the game again (in a new save, let's call it "ORAS2") to go through the story once more, and then reflash ORAS1. My questions about it are as follows: 1. Would it be possible to do that, or will ORAS1 be "rejected" by the game if I try to flash it back after I removed it from the 3DS and started a new game? 2. If the answer to the previous question is positive, would it be possible to access Pokemon Bank using ORAS2 while it's "active" on the 3DS? 3. If the previous answers are positive, would it be possible to access Pokemon Bank using ORAS1 when I'm done with ORAS2 and flash it again? If it matters, my copy of Omega Ruby is digital, though the question applies for my copy of X as well, which is physical. Thank you very much!
  2. Hi there, Background: I'm a new user to PkHeX and the Gen VI RAM/SAV editing scene so please excuse me for any ridiculous mistakes (and in turn I will try to avoid them). Using Windows 8 x64 (which is able to run Python, C# and Java IDE's, so I'm assuming .NET, JDK etc are up to date), PkHeX build 04-04-15, a 3DS @ Ver. 9.4.0-21U (irrelevant for my bug), Omega Ruby Ver. 1.2 (also irrelevant). The trigger: I'm trying to generate a QR code for the Eon Flute WC6 found in this thread. The issue: When I drag and drop the WC6 to PkHeX, Wondercard I/O pops up. I'm pressing "QR!", the following error appears: Full Details log: http://pastebin.com/6Cr3AUFW My question is, what am I doing wrong? And also, if it's possible, would you please point me to a clear tutorial on how to handle the injection right? The tutorial pointed to in the WC6 contribution thread does not seem detailed enough for a beginner like myself (kinda hard to figure how to "use PkHeX"...), and some Youtube videos I've found do not deal with my specific situation. Thanks!
  3. Hi there! I'm trying to backup Black 2's savefile to my PC. My equipment is as follows: *A DS Lite, an up-to-date DSTWO with Pokedoc's savegame manager version 0.2.4 (0.3RC1 crashes upon startup), and an original Black 2 cartridge *A PC with Windows 8 x64, smallftpd at the appropriate version and all settings according to savegame manager's manual, and a shared folder with access granted to everyone to read/write on Windows (folder path is "C:\ poke", ignore the space over there, an appears without it), and Firewall turned off. PC is connected to the house's network through ethernet cable. *A laptop with the same conditions, except it has WiFi capabilities. *The house's network has password protection by WEP protocol. I've tried to handle the process with the PC first. I connected the DS to the WiFi and used the right password. I used Black 2 to access the WiFi settings and got the whole "Nintendo shut down the WFC services bla bla bla" so I figured it's working. When I booted the DSTWO on savegame manager then swapped the cartridge, it seemed as if the DS managed to connect to the PC. smallftpd showed some message about a client connected and had the word "PSAV" or something like that inside it. The DS showed that it began to write "PokemonBlack2.0.sav", and it showed it's on 0%. The trouble is, it's been on 0% for over 10 minutes. Eventually the client message disappeared from smallftpd. I proceeded to repeat the same process on my laptop. To make sure it's not a network protection issue, I used my phone's tethering capabilities and connected both my laptop and my DS to an open AndroidAP access point. The same situation repeated itself - 0% for a good 15 minutes and a message that appears then disappears on smallftpd. What should I do? Is there any solution? Is there any other tool considering it's been 3 years since the OP was created? Thanks in advance and I appreciate the fantastic informative thread, hopefully I will find a solution. EDIT: apparently there was this single setting I either forgot or didn't notice about using local IP rather than something else. This solved the problem, though now I have a problem with Pokegen that I'm going to ask about at the right place.
