Now man doesn't see the sanctity of women anymore, because they don't even respect themselves. Since men are missing "help meets", what else are women good for other than their bodies? Their qualities certainly don't redeem them anymore. Am I against women with careers? Nope... but placing it above family is a big no no.

It is true, however, that women grow more mature than men at a faster rate... for the most part that is.

I do NOT speak for all women, but society works this way and it is very apparent. Sex is all of a sudden a sacred thing, women are goddesses, and men are just monsters and hellhounds thirsting for sex without permanent marriage. We laugh at the notion of marriage these days... it's not even funny. In fact, I've become so desensitised to all this emphasis on sex that I feel "satisfied" without a woman. Though it feels empty, it seems that...

It's all spiritual depravity.

Victorian era: women were expected to fulfill their traditional roles, YET they were respected by men. The ones who called for suffrage rights and whatnot were the ones who were seen as social pariahs.

Here's how society works these days: women are objects. Career women say they don't need men because they already fulfill that role, and they say marry later, but these are the same women who try to have a relationship but always break up, wondering what the heck was missing. The bottom line is, most women, if not all, cannot have both. It's one or the other: be a mother, a housewife... or choose to become just like man, compete with man. If you don't need one, don't have a relationship. But most women want children and a family, and wonder why they are never completely satisfied with their career.

EDIT: Men are monsters. Always doing stuff like degrading women. But it's also because women are not doing their part, therefore allowing themselves to be seen this way. It's a social engineering thing, which comes from the 20th century... which probably surfaced mostly during the mid 19th.

The show, however, does most males no justice by promoting a feminine society where males are just the backdrop or in Discord's case, an enemy. I won't get into the specifics, because I'd rather you enjoy the show or something before I spoil something with deep analysis.

Many of the characters are rather unreal. Fluttershy is an extreme; she's not "realistic" as opposed to Twilight. And why is it insulting to have a southern American accent again? I actually love it!

I'm more forgiving when it comes to some fan-content, but I still agree. The male population, or, in this case, the odd Bronies, tends to "degrade" women, or in this case, the mares in MLP. As much as women's rights improved, norms and media influence still affect the male mentality, and in some cases, the female ones, as well. It's a sad thing. Like you said, people don't really learn from their mistakes; its promoting uncontrolled births.

I liked Fluttershy the most in the past, but Twilight is now my favorite. She seems more natural to me, as well as a somepony I can relate to. I also like Rainbow Dash, despite I'm the opposite of her, and Apple Jack. Stereotypes aren't always bad, as AJ is definitely someone I'd befriend, even if it is apparently insulting to have a southern American accent.

Yeah. It's definitely not necessary for ponies. Hate seeing Flutterbutter with a swear word macro; just doesn't fit and definitely not nice.
