You need to beat the Elite Four twice I believe: as well as capture more pokemon.

If you want it to be good for in-game use there's not much I can say. Just lay it out how you want.

I think you should swap the quick claw for a life orb, and yes, drop his attack a little.

I'd recommend Wild Charge if you're going to use it.

Not a bad set, but I think that strength should be changed for either wild charge or stone edge.

Also, make sure that he's got some investment in special attack... Usually I prefer having one attack type when he's using flame charge sets, but that's up to you.

You can butt me out if you want because I don't really (insert reason here), but I've noticed you were making an Emboar. The irony is that I am too... so...

Just for moves, he probably should have his STAB in there, and he should not have scald, because grass knot can hit rocks/grounds etc, which water can too, but your STAB move with 120 power here is stronger, so... Probably should have fighting stab in there. :/

Ok, doubles is a completely different system. Make use of Protect in Doubles a lot if you need to, especially if you have partners that run Surf or Earthquake. The thing is Emboar doesn't really have anything special I can think of for doubles, and just another regular single hitting target there.

Just a thought: I use Typhlosion's Eruption in doubles, which is fun as it hits everyone for crazy damage, provided Typhlosion has full health... or else it fails :/
